Another thing you can do is have a higher level artisan make a new crafting kit out of the best resources avalible and have them try to get the experimentation on it as high as possible. The higher the quality of the kit, the higher the success rate of experimentation...at least in theory. We all know how the bugs go. ![]()
Best of luck.
Take a look on the Bazaar at the number of CDEF weapons for sale to see what I mean - most of these are probably brand new (i.e. not second hand from upgrading players) yet they wont sell regardless of how cheap they are or how good they have been made - no one needs them because its not that long before you can use a better gun and there are already weaponsmiths in the game (at the start or retail everyone was stuck with CDEF weapons until the first Artisans hit Novice Weaponsmith - thus there was a market for these weapons if suitably high quality)
I never made a bean from my Artisan products until I hit Engineering III and could start to make Bone armour - Fortunately I caught the end of the 'Bone armour train' and was able to make some cash before the first armoursmiths starting churning out Mabari and bang went the bone armour market. Since then I havent sold anything until I hit Master Artisan and have been able to make the Master Artisan items.
Best bet is to stick with comsumable items (although stimpacks are a medic item not an artisan item they follow this rule) if priced correctly and of suitable quality these items should still sell (although you may be better selling them on a street corner than on the bazaar - some people are just lazy and/or dont know where t look on the Bazaar) but it looks like youve learned the hard way that you have to run missions etc to support your installations until you find/reach a product that sells.
Good luck
I took up the artisian profession just resently after finding out there is no money in hunting. I found that i can make good money selling your basic items on bazaar. all you got to do is look on the bazaar and find what isn't being sold. Craft those items even if you don't think they will sell.. they will if there is no compition.
Supply and demand! that is the creed of the true crafters.....
And never! under-cut prices of another...... that drives the market down for us all.... don't flood the market with alot of the same item.... that also drives down the price..... lets work together not against each other.
Nura,
While this is medic and not artisan, I noticed today that there were absolutely NO Stimpack B's at the Bazaar in Theed. So, I promptly crafted a few, and sold them at anywhere from 250 to 300 credits depending on the amount of usages I got out of them. They all sold w/in a matter of an hour or so.
You have a point...definitely.
