The Borcarbitic copper from JTL spawned on Valcyn with an SR of 985! I have yet to make a vehicle with it. I will keep you posted on the results
A weaponsmith friend of mine was also able to make a 99% powerhammer using that copper. It and the hardened steel are going to be game changing for the crafters.

No, you can harvest them right now on live servers. The resources themselves are not JTL. But if you want to become a shipwright or a pilot you will need JTL installed

Yeah, some of the new JTL aluminium just started spawning on Wanderhome a day ago. It's SR is 997. Everyone please say hello to 99% vehicles.

Then I guess my guess was legit, to a certain degree at least
They might still be gated in some stat, but they are the best reource classes out there.

Your turn will come I'm sure. I actually kind of wish that Wanderhome hadn't gotten such a nice spawn of non-ferrous right now. We've currently got a spawn of iron that's 994 SR along with our new spawn of high SR aluminium. I hate having to split my harvestors between the two spawns... I'd much rather be able to get another 500k of the iron and then be able to focus all of my harvestors on the aluminium in a week or two. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain about good resources spawning.

Man, what is it w/ Kettemoor... ?
Our new copper: CR=177, CD=243, DR=238, HR=151, MA=313, OQ=923, SR=6, UT=213
decent OQ but that rest is sub-grind quality! Hope OQ is all that matters... don't know if I'd want the hull made with that stuff

The new aluminum, Perovskivtivic, can go higher than 900 SR. A current spawn on Intrepid has 969 cond
Must be nice. Here on Kettemoor Aluminum is topping out at a whopping 625 SR.
Strangely I'm not building many vehicles right now!

Ship Chassis requirements are for Overall Quality, Shock Resistance, Heat Resistance and Malleability, 25% each from what I saw when I was was working on Shipwright in the beta.
Components are more varied though. There was also a dev comment that the named resources required for ships will always be available on one planet or another in each change of the available resources, but that the qualities for each would still be variable like normal.

On Chilastra, I am currently mining the new Tatio Perovskitic Aluminum with SR 982. It beats the new Tevafidian Conductive Borcarbitic Copper SR 968.
But I am not sure I'll be making vehicles with it, though that's why I dropped harvestors on it (I run a vehicle shop on Theed). That's because on the trade forums, the Tatio Perovskitic Aluminum is selling for 7CPU.
I sell vehicles for about 2CPU. I'm not sure I want to give up 5CPU to make 98% bikes, when I can use other materials I have that's only worth 2CPU to make 96% ones.
Somethng I have to think about.
Cheers,
Martek
