Thread: Artisan to lose vendors?
After reading over 60 pages of comments regarding the merchant changes I have yet to see any serious opposition to the artisan vendor. There have been some proposed changes such as limiting artisan vendor capacity but there is no consensus regarding our vendors.
I think perhaps your taking this abit to literally. I think what TH MEANT to say was that only those with the skill to have vendors would be able to KEEP vendors (ie: getting master merchant placing your vendors then dropping the whole tree while keeping the vendors in place.)
From what I understand from following this line of thought on the merchant boards is that these changes would not effect the vendor giving in the buisness line.
I have read the posts on this as well and think it is a rediculous idea to take our vendors away when i drop merchant skills. As a tailor i have 3 vendors full of stock and personally i am not going to find a 3rd party to go sell my clothes for me on their vendor. It is to much trouble, believe me ive tried it in the past.
If i enter a wrong price when i offer it to the vendor, the merchant refuses it, then i have to repost with correct price. This can take a couple of days depending on the frequency the two people play. It is much easier for me to have a vendor that I can put/remove products onto.
If they end up implimenting this I will end up dropping my tailor, which I dont want to do because I enjoy it. Also I am against the 150 cap, i have 255 schematics, and if i made only one item of everything I would need a minimum of two vendors to place everything on too.
