Thread: Lets trade lots. Yours for mine....end up with 10 more lots to use.
Yes, I would like to find someone willing to move harvesters once a week.
As I said, I will supply 20 harvesters, 20k cash for travel expenses to start, and a prairie chicken to get around as well as the waypoints on Naboo. You place the harvesters and make me admin, and email the waypoints to the harvesters. I will do the same on yours. Only should take an hour of your time. Repeat next week after the shift. I have a hotmail email account to communicate in a timely manner so you don't always have to come to my server (Eclipse) and send me messages.
I have 2 characters on Eclipse, willing to trade to any other 1 server with 1 other person who has 2 characters on 1 server. I also have 2 computers so I can play on your server and mine to do the initial trading.
This is unfortunately a little higher maintenance, but if there is a fellow miner who is willing make it work with me, the rewards are pretty good.

A better bet would be to let the person who you are doing a lot trade with just own houses and factories. This is what I have done in the past. I don't own Large Generic home, I'm just on the admin list. I created it and had it laced where I wanted then use the /transferstructure command when the other character came to the house. Is easiest that way. For those of you willing to go in and move harvestors. My hat off to you. Hehe. I have 2 characters on Wanderhome and have done a cross lot trade on Ahazi. I'm looking to do another on other servers. Will just be a home for now. not moving at all. Send me a pm.

Am I to late to get some of this action? I usually am, and have been looking to lot trade for months. I have two accounts. Both of my primary characters are on Kettemoor. This means I have up to 20 lots to trade on any other server. I'd prefer to deal with other folks who have 20, but will do 10...

Ok, this is how it works.
You decide to trade lots with someone on server "A" for lots on your server "B". Now what most people do is whats known as a static placement trade (easyest). Basicly you would supply all the harvesters, power and maintnance for the 10 lots on your server (B), and he/she would supply all the same for the 10 lots on their server(A). All 10 harvesters are placed in one place (or on diff planets or whatever you work out with the person) and they are left there. You put each others name on the admin list, and you pay for the maintenance and power on those harvesters and harvest whatever happends to be there. You never again have to login to server A, and they never again have to login to server B.
The other option is where you would login to each others servers when the resource shifts and move the harvesters around. Most people don't do this type because of the complexity.
In both cases you supply everything you need on your server. Your new character needs nothing.
Thanks for the explanation Crelus. I was hoping that I was wrong that the lots aren't able to be moved (at least not easily).
I'll have to locate a good spot for the harvesters and it'll probably take a week ortwo (minimum) before i have the resources to do this, but if anyone is willing to trade lots to Kauri send me a PM.
