Well, if the harvester don't exist after you leave them, then a courteousy e-mail or system message would be a better suggestion. The argument that the resource shift are predictable does not fly. The casual gamer won't be able to predict these. Besides which, sometimes (at least on my server) the resources change a few times before "settling".

Point one i definatly agree with to a degree, though no need for full monitoring, just a simple "mineing stopped" email would do. Exact same as factories give.

Point two would just flood the system with emails as seen individual resources cycle out at 1 day,4 days,10 days and even 16 days. So they would be sending emails to everyone with a harvester pretty much every single day

Interesting Cerion, just what is this amazing system you have that can tell when a resource will cycle out when they can last anything from 1 day to 16 days?

And that will know then you will get hit by the maintience bug that have harvesters consume maintinence and power at 3 to 6 times the normal rate?

Bah, how many times is this exact same petition going to be started and fade away? It's kinda funny.

I'm a casual player. These systems are totally unnecessary as you can record all your information with pencil and paper. And yes, the resourcesare predictable. I do it all the time.

I have to agree here somewhat. While predicting for me has not been totally foolproof I have managed to keep track of resources that Iam mining on Corellia and have not lost any maintance. I keep track of what resources are avaible each day when I log in and you can tell when new ones appear. its just a matter of keeping a record and you will see a pattern emerge.

I would much rather see the miner profession reinstated as an elite elite profession off Master Aritsan then continue to see people disagree on this issue. While I agree that not knowing what is going on with your mines without running out to them is mildy annoying giving ud too much information to easily may result in making my day boreing as well.

Ok, it sounds more like some people need help with theirharvesters maintenance, the big patch is coming lets see what happens, anyway, why dont pay someone to go out there, check it for you, he/she can report back to you, lets say you hire this person for a week, pay it on a daily basis, a novice artisan would beneficie from this , while sampling on a high concentration area, he can keep a eye on the structures for you.

You have harvesters so money its not a such a big deal anymore, you help a noobiesince hedont have to doso many missions to to get those extra credits.

I`m in Chilastra server, in Dearic town give me a /tell Nandom Mamow at your service.

Stop, just stop! Read the 'in testing' page, the patch will have a fix to e-mail you when the harvester runs out of power. Now before you start complaining about maintenance, just give this one time to settle in and maybe they'll see about maintenance. But stop with the petitions, it's coming already!!

Please make this happen Devs. I'm OK with the fact that I have to run around to all my harvestors/generators on a daily basis, but it'd be nice to kinda know what to expect before I get there and possibly cut dow my trips to every other day.

I would love to be able to monitor harvesters from a distance. It seems pretty stupid from both game mechanics and a usability standpoint that I can't do this. Lightspeed travel is possible, but I can't communicate with my harvester remotely. *shrug* That fact that I have to travel to my harvester to pay maintenance seems absurd too. And what's up with the inconsistancy between between display of the maintenance and power pools? How much power is 0:25 anyway? Sorry this turned into a rant. Just my frustration coming through.
