Ran into this problem several times now where i make a trip to yavin 4 check my haversters and they are working fine. I leave and check 2 days later and the resource shift has stopped my harvesters maybe 4 hours after I had checked them the 2 days before. With a 6000+ round trip to yavin would it be to much for at least a email notifiying me whe the shift stops the harvestors? This is is huge waste not only for the decay on the harvestors but am I expected t check back every couple hours to make sure thier still working?
Wondering if there is anything in the works for a email like when your harvestors run out of upkeep noticifying you of a resource shift that stops your harvestors? Anyone know or ran into similar problems?
Sorry but the game is Dumbed down enough as it is, if you want to get into the game of resources then you have to be disciplined enough to know what you're doing so you don't get caught high and dry by the resource shifts. Use a book like I do and write everything down, date, what resource it was, stats etc. If it's a new area then BRIBE someone you see who is also digging up resources, ask them what when how and stats, Give them a location of a good spot you know for picking their brains.
It's not brain surgery and a little bit of hard work and dedication will get you on the right track in a short time, just make sure to keep track of everything and write it all down, use good quality harvesters with high BER and always have an extra one of each on you for thesurprise find you run up against once in awhile.
Another hint is whenever you are running to some place make sure to always survey for this or that switching off between resources, you never know what will pop up
. Some of my highest grade and output spots were found that way and I was the only person there for the whole spawn, lol!
Also don't be a jerk like so many people are already out there, shop owners are trying to make a living to, especially the little shop owners and they need people to provide them with resources to keep them going and a fair "not top" rate so they can continue in business. If things continue the way they are sooner rather than later the only thing that will be left in the game will be people selling Resources, Weapons, Armor and Structures as all the other things that sell for much less won't be around because those shop owners that produced them could not compete with the gazillionaires who kept bidding on the resources and pricing them out of their reach.
Just something to think about.
