Try this survey macro:

/pause 10;

/sample;

/pause 100; <----- this will vay on what your HAM is like, edit as needed.

/sit;

/pause 10;

/stand

/ui action toolbarSlot00; <--- this is the toolbarslot your sample icon will be in

then just loop it..

you'll have to change the pauses dependent on your ham, but it'd go something like this

/sample; /pause 400; /sit; /pause 80; /stand; /pause 1; /ui action toolbarSlot01

Hmm, if you mean surveying as opposed to sampling, this is what i use

open survey tool then mount bike. target bike. hit macro button

Macro is :

/unmount

/pause 1

/survey

/pause 1

/mount

i also have my mouse wheel's down click set to change mouse mode. That way i can hide the survey screen quicklywhile i'm moving

you can change type of item surveyed (ie oat, corn,etc.) while mounted , butnot surveytools

Get Quickness and Stamina buffs, have decent Mind secondaries. Start harvesting on a good spot, place a weighted object on your enter button (this will automatically handle those popups). Check back in 2 and half or three hours, whenever your buffs are scheduled to run out, and you should be good to go.

That's if you want to AFK it. Live sampling, they have you covered.

Here you have an macro for surveying :-)

You cant come around the pop-ups, BUT you can ignore them.

For exampel:

Type: (exampel)

/stand;
/sample;
/pause 110; (if you can sample for 400 dont type that, if an pop-up will come you will stand and do nothing until you sit down)
/sit;
/pause 45; (this pause is jusst to refill your green line if you are buffed, you dont have to have this long pause)
/stand;
/pause 2; (this pause is just so you will start over, if you dont have this you will get "you cant survery while siting down" or something like that)
/macro (type the name of your macro,this will restart it again)

This is the macro I have. the 110 pause is how long you will survery. If an pop-up will come you will stop survey until you klick on it. But then you have a macro and you sit down and start again, you will ignor the pop-ups. so you will have a lot of dem on top of each other, but you will survey in the back of them :-)))

Here are the elements for a Survival macro :

-Fill 24 hot keys with camps.
-Go to wayfar not far Tiem Ruthar, a static spawn or any other (60m is all right).
-Don't wear any range weapon
-Call a droid.

-Type /macro
The macro :
-/ui action toolbarSlotxx;build a camp.
-/whisper,/pause for 15mn etc..;anti afk deco + enough time for max xp.
-/ui action cycleTargetOutward;the mob is targeted.
-/attack and /pause 20;The fight mode make the camp abandonned,of course you don't fight for real.
-/peace;
-Pause 200;after 2mn the camp disappear, a little time added.
-/ui action toolbarSlotxx;build a camp.

At ranger Novice you earn 1040 pts/camp/15-18mn.
A night=24x1040=almost 25k Survival xp, more if you become Frontiersman or MRanger.

I stopped though because afk grind makes me sick, I prefer taming rare babies.
I understand perfectly afk grind though and I vote against a removal of this possibility.

Anyone that have any good Crafting Macro?
