I read this thread and laughed so hard i fell out of my chair. I remember when we were all wondering what the hell it was for, and making one and keeping it in inventory "just in case" it had to do something with jedi.

ive actually found some uses for them
i use wooden staffs moved above it to make it look like its hanging from the ceiling on a rope (or a big stick...) then
1) put candle inside to make it a pretty candleholder
2) i put a blowfish in it - it looked funny like the birdcage is a ring around the fat fish, he looked pretty happy - especiialy whne you cant see that there's big spikes going into his back

Ive sold quite a few. Lets face it 1000cr is nothing to a lot of people these days. If you see something that will make a nice decoration you're not going to quibble over whether its 10cr or 1000cr.

I agree, but there are still people I meet who try to haggle 5 credits off a crate of power-ups. Can you saytighter than a gnats chuff?

Now that we can move items up and down, just drop a cage and elevate it to just above head height. Then drop a seeker droid in the same place, and elevate the droid so that it is sitting within the cage. You now have a security camera and housing. I even crafted mine, so that the name on the droid issurveillance camera, and the name on the cage is security camera housing.
