Thread: The Longest Grind of All
Kedgeboy,
Thanks for the macro. It worked a treat!! I left it running overnight and got 10k xp. I only need another 5k for Surveying 4.
Nice,
Appro
my macro samples once, then sits me down, whilst I recover the action back then stand and sample again.
The stopping the sampling and sitting after each sample means that although you still get the pop-up windows you are able to continue sampling.
You will just have to clear a load of screens when you check you PC again.
I left mine running overnight last night and had about 15 screens to clear.
Interesting.. I did not know that. Thanks for the info. I had thought that the process would stop until you clicked on one of the options.

Surveying went fast for me too. I just made sure that whenever I was crafting, I was sampling too. I'd usually do this near one of my harvestors and sample the same thing. It added to my take a little, and I was getting the XP painlessly as I was stationary due to my crafting anyway.
DE... now that's taking some time to level there, because it takes time not only to get that much crafting XP, but also to harvest all that steel and fiberplast. If you aren't a millionaire, it takes time. If you are a millionaire when you start, you won't be when you finish. Well, not if you focus entirely on grinding anyway.
WIth my main character, since I got the game, I slowly worked up to bounty hunter. That was all I wanted to do, was get to bounty hunter. Even so, I had surveying 4 before I had novice bounty hunter. Not only is surveying easy, it's profitable. Find a high quality, high density material. Sample for as long as you can, use a macro if you'd like. Then go sell it on the bazaar for a ridiculously high price. Don't worry, it should still sell. I made my money selling 900+ quality gemstone in Theed at 10 cpu. Yes, 10 cpu. It still sold. And the place I was mining was maybe 15 seconds away from the cantina. I wish I hadn't had to drop the entire artisan profession.
