MBH/Master Carbineer and CM 4xxx works just fine for me. I'm all for the weapons, but if you aren't, you can try MBH/MCM/Pistoleer xxx4 perhaps.

One thing they've added within the past 6 months or so is the ability to search (almost) all of the vendors on the galaxy. Just go to a bazaar terminal, click on the 'vendor locations' tab up top, click on the 'entire galaxy' button, and start browsing for what you need. I don't remember which category a light food bio component would be under, but if anyone has any for sale on the galaxy, you can find it.
Actually, I assume you'll be wanting factory crates of it. That's under the category Misc -> Factory Crate. Then you just put a name in the search field to narrow your search. Experiment with a few different words in the search box if you need to. You should be able find what you need relatively quickly. If you change the word in the search box, then you just need to refresh the search by clicking on another category, then back on the category you're interested in searching.

Point #1: The "light food additives" (and the "light food bio component" that those require) are optional components, you can make food without them. Of course, the bio components give a fairly significant boost to the food's buff power (or duration or reducing filling or increasing stack size), so there is definitely a incentive to use them.
Point #2: There's not actually anything in the game called a "light food bio component". It's a category description that covers:
- Micronutrient Supplements (increases food buff power)
- Multisaccharide Dimate (increases food duration)
- Carboreductive Catalyst (decreases food filling)
- Hyper Yeast Additive (increases stack size)
Those items (commonly called "tissues") are crafted by Bioengineers. Micronutrients are the most commonly used (since improved buff is a big seller, plus they're the easiest to make), and most active tissue sellers should have some available.
