200 was perfect! put them back there.. droid kits too.


If you want to make the best you can, use a high OQ ore for the mineralingredient, to help boost the rating,since it has no conductivity. If you can hit 85% or higher experimentation, you should get 9 use kits.

200 WAS perfect! omg, I would be ecstatic if they pulled them back to 200. Is this really true?


Why they have to go over the top and excessive with things, from one extreme to the other, is beyond me.


Customization kit sales have been totally stagnant for me. I get an odd purchase here and there. But 2000 call duration put a huge dent in my sales.


Does this mean we're going to have pre-nerf customization kits?

Ya, they screwed the pooch on this one.


Before no one bought the kits because the duration was too short. Now its so bloody long that you only need 1 kit for about 4 months of use. I swear, from one extreme to the other.


A base duration of 2000 is way way way too long. Why not like 300 or so, but no 2000. Crazy.

OK, I have another issue along these lines. Everytime I make a Droid Customization kit (i'm novice Droid Eng.) it fails. I have tried different resources, but it always is a critcal failure. Any ideas? Thanks.

Wow... I've never heard that one before. How many times have you tried making one? If you've only tried two or three times I would try again. It's possible to get three critical failures in a row... unlikely, but possible. I wouldn't view this as conclusive until you've tried at least 10 times or more.


I would alsoask this question on the droid engineer forum. It's possible that the droid customization kits got bugged recently. I only know of one DE on my server who stocks these, but I don't think he's made any new ones for several months. I'll ask him to try making one later tonight if I see himonline.

the change has been made in publish 11.5, the number of pulls the paint lasts has been reduced, but it doesnt say what it was reduced to.

in the patch notes:

Crafting
Decreased duration of vehicle customization kits


also:

Fixed an exploit where vehicles could be generated with 40k max HAM

If you sort datapad items and the inventory in the detail view, the sort state will now be remembered the next time you log in.

Misc
Race droids now reset record times once every 24 hours to allow everyone a more equitable chance to earn racing badges.


the only problem i see here is the potential change for choosing schems to use in macros. i know exactly how to figure out which schem to use, but it is dependent on the default sort order of the schems in the datapad, if this new sort will renumber your schems based on your sort order, there is no problem, if it doesnt, you will have to just start at 0 and keep trying until you find the one you want. very time consuming. no more counting and ending up off by a couple, and just trying a few more numbers to get it right.
im going to bet that it doesnt renumber the schems, so your datapad numbers after sorting could be 34, 94, 1, 53, 88, 29....
that will not be fun.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

although it doesnt say what it was changed to, im going to bet its 200.

2000 was way over the top, and i wonder if it was a typo for 200, but just didnt get noticed until they were writing the notes and rather than change the system, they just left it and made the notes match what the system had.

custo kits (droid and vehicle) where both changed to 200... then they went to 2000.... now vehicle paint is back back down to 200, but droid paint is still at 2000?!?! Makes no sense!

They are back to 200 uses... just applied new paint yesterday.

heh, soo they buy one and then never again, with 2k a cuasual user thats over a year?? 200 uses is a lot,, thats a few months for a dailly person or 4-5 for one that doesnt.. that to me sounds like a lot


for 200 uses thats what 6 or 7 calls a day?? i make 500 credits off these things im not geting rich with either way..


Personally i think all paint shoudl be from a station in npc citys, for everything, armor, clothing, drodis, vehicles, furnature, that would be a great money sink..
