actually maybe it's a x-wing being upgraded
Ooohh. Upgraded would be cool. If we can make 'after market' parts to Upgrade ships then there'd be a constant market for them >
. We can hope!

im a noob to the forums but after scanning them a bit i have to ask where these picks of JTLS expansion are coming from
SOE and/or LucasArtsare giving demos of JTL at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo, IIRC). Of course, it's an "industry convention", meaning not really open to the public, just for gaming companies and press. I'm not positive whether or not "leaks" like this are kosher or not....but personally I love seeing it.

Can anyone post this someplace else or direct me to the original site? I can't view imagedump pictures.
Thanks!

Some points...
The 3 pilot classes are NOT XP/SP based...you gotta "do stuff" to lvl in them...apparently thats the rebel prestige...this is not like FP...which is good
According to stratics, 2/5 of the rebel ships are craftable....I highly doubt this information however...I would believe that all ships that are launch based will be craftable...
And...stratics has screenshots of ALL 3 Pilot classes and the shipwright as well

Correct, only the Shipwright crafing profession will require the use of skill points since it can affect the player-economy planetside. The Pilot professions require no SP's, so anyone can fly the unfriendly skies.....

Neat. I wonder what the "Mass" and "Mass (max)" are for? Limitations on upgrades that can be grafted onto the chassis, maybe? Or maybe different levels of engine/shields/armor have different weights, and you have to stay under that max limit.
Thanks for the scoop. Now if we could only get a peek at the shipwright skill tree....
dont got one for that skill but i do got a screenie of the rebel pilot skill tree

That's the screen for customizing components on your ship (after your ship has been built).
