It has the same terrain handling as Landspeeder, and same speed as Swoop... A good combination... Also the reducing dmg on it is equal to Landspeeder...

A question for you crafting types
I have saved enough cash to buy an AV-21 but can't find one anywhere for a sensible price. So I'm thinking it may be easier to collect the necessary parts and pay an Artisan to make one for me.
So - what exactly do I need? I can get a schem for 50k easily, but what else is required? What risks are involved?

You need the AV-21 powerplant from the Corvette. You'll also need the Artisan to have ferrous and non-ferrous and you want the OQ and I think the SR to be high.

Thanks, I have seen the Powerplants going for around 1.5Mil on Chimaera and was wondering where they came from, never having done the corvette.
Do you know what quantities of ferrous and non-ferrous are required as that shouldn't be a problem.

It's 3125 Ferrous Metal and 1125 Non-Ferrous. Shock Resistance is the only quality that matters. Overall Quality has no effect whatsoever.

Master artisan, get some nice copper and steel...powerplants are usually only around 1 million nowadays.

As with all things, that depends on the server. I've gotten them for 1 million in the past, but I haven't seen any that low on my server for quite some time.

I have seen AV-21s completed sell for 1.2-1.5 million, so I would assume the powerplant was 1-1.3 million to buy. But of course, server dependent.

Hehe... back when I was able to get powerplants for 1 million I was selling 99% AV-21s for 3 million. Tidy little profit there. My powerplant suppliers never asked how much money I was making on the transactions and they were more than happy to sell to me for 1 million. Pretty nice for everyone involved really.

Whenever i have an Av21's i sell the deed for 1.5Mil no matter what dura they have. Never bought powerplants, they are way over priced.

As a master swordsman I can loot them myself. However, the whole process of getting the shuttle ticket to go up there, getting buffed to run the corvette, and then having pretty good odds that after all of that you just won't loot one really bores me.Therefore, I'd much rather pay for the powerplants and sell the AV-21s for more. As long as people are willing to pay the insane prices for their AV-21s, I'm more than willing to charge them that price.
