No offence Guru, however, given the fact that you have many characters, on many servers, all needing attention, how do you honestly think you have the time and dedication to adequately monitor, and be correspondent to the Artisan profession?

I would of been much more comfortable if a correspondent only had ONE character, ONE server and preformed their role as SWG correspondent as their new primary role.. I hope you didn't apply for this position simply because it was a part time "perk" on the side second behind your playing characters.. Time will tell..

An excellent point. All I can say is that I will try my best.

Time will tell.

Take care

Grats Guruweaver!

my 2 cents-

Guru might not have a high post count, but at least i don't want to kick him for whining in every post.

I'm curious on how much input a Correspondent has in the actual development process? How much of what the community's wants, needs, desires, is taken into consideration by Development? Or is it just a one way conduit so we're aware what changes will be put in place?

That is not my understanding and that is not what I have been told. I have been told that we are to be a two-way conduit with the player community and the developer community. My job, among others, is to work with y'all, understand the issues of the Artisan community, both bugs and enhancements, and to represent those issues to the developers.

Further, I am to take the feedback from those developers and give it to you.

In other words, I'm a punching bag. :-)

Take care!

Froma former correspondent - good luck, and don't hold your breath on anything.

Don't expect that anything at all will get done or even discussed by the devs, and you won't be disappointed.

When the devs DO throw you a little bone, they will never give you permission to pass it to us - so don't even hint that something is coming, until after you get permission to post it.

Don't take any crap from the community when you don't have anything to pass along; you'll know it's not your fault, Vaedross'll know it's not your fault, and I'll know it's not your fault. Anyone who has a problem with your performance can apply for the hellish position themselves when you are done being the whipping boy.

Once again, good luck, I'll be keeping an eye on ya, lol.
