Some really good tips here.

I'm one of those who plays casually and sells what I make. The thing on quality is very true. Quality items will sell. Other than chance cubes, most every item an artisan can make, I've sold at some point or another.

There are many ways to get to architect. Some just sit down and grind stuff out for hours and hours until they get the exp.

If you enjoy doing a lot of things in game and aren't in a hurry, then its not hard to make a handful of items and gain maybe 1000 exp a day crafting. At that pace it will take you one month to reach architect. Crafting is part of my routine. I log in and check my emails and see what items I sold and craft more of those, then when I'm done with that, I go do other things. If I'm on a lot in one day, things sell during the day, so I might craft later to replace what I've sold.
