Thread: Questions about vendors

Hello. I am fairly new to the game, and this profession. I am only in need of Surveying IV to attain Master Artisan.

I bought a small Naboo house, and tried to place a Vendor inside. I paid maintenence in my house, made it a public building, and was able to place the big bulky vendor. Actually first I tried the droid vendor, but even after selecting the Initialize Vendor option, and paying some maintenence to my vendor, I cannot use it to place items on it. It keeps telling me Vendor is not initialized.

I declared my residence, could this be the problem? Also, I have 0 lots left after placing the house. I didn't think Vendors required lots.

Also, is the Droid Vendor better to use? I read around some threads I searched, and it appears as though the big buly one is expensive to maintain.

I hope to eventually become Merchant/Tailor, and I appreciate any help you may be able to offer.

If you can create a Vendor from your house's command pannel you should be able to place it.

I've experienced the same problem with trying to place a droid vendor. No matter what I did it would not initialize. Asked a friend and he said "Forgot to tell you, it does that."

Removed the maintainence I had already paid and removed the vendor. Went back and placed an NPC vendor and had no problems.

Go figure ....

Ahh.. many bugs!

I will keep trying until it works I guess.

After I do getthe vendor working, I can place items same way as I would on the bazaar I take it?
