Thread: 40K Condition Swoop?!?
This bug has nothing to do with the artisan, resources, ormethod of crafting. I won't post specific information on how to recreate the bug here, because I consider it an exploit.

As long as this has been around, it's not a bug-it's just a reward for making the effort to use quality resources. So....WHAT ARE THEY? Is it copper and....what? Is it something else? What are the best ferrous and non-ferrous metals to use and what stats should we be looking for on each resource? Over all quality? Something else? Someone with hard, specific information, PLEASE post it for other crafters to use if they so desire! Thanks.

There has been no word on whether the possession of these is a bannable offense.
In my opinion (that and a $3.00 would get you a latte), I don't think we'll see these have the smack down laid on them. Don't know, of course.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear on this one.....
The 40k Condition vehicles were the original incarnation of what vehicles appeared as on TC. They were changed to what we see now on Live. Some of the bugs that pop up, from time to time, are due to conflicts in the coding that can arise when people do things that aren't intended and actually go out of thier way to do these sort of actions. This would be the case with the 40k Condition speeders on that we see on Live.
This is a bug and should be squashed at some point, however since it falls some what low on the priority scale - Credit duping, JtL, Combat Revamp to name a few of the higher priority fixes - we more then likely won't see a fix for some time. This does not mean that it won't be a retroactive fix, meaning that anyone that has a 40K Condition vehicle could lose this vehicle at some later point down the line when this issue is addressed.
Just like the Uber no-CH pets that were phased out, the 40k Condition vehicles could see the same fate. I feel for anyone that currently is paying out large sums of credits to buy these vehicles and for those that are selling them, because at some point both will be biten by a fix just like some Bio Engineers were.

Your artisan correspondent noted this so-called bug and reported it over a year ago! If they wanted to change this, it would have been changed LONG ago and all speeders would be capped at something like 2K HAM. This is not an exploit or the developers would have nerfed it quite easily during some mini-publish back in '03.So, is anyone daring enough to give some info on what are the best metals to use when crafting speeders, in order to get the best results for high HAM? (For the righteous wiener above who so indignantly responded to my previous crass, boisterous email, that's called 'experimentation'. Something done to research the best production methods so they can consistently be implemented. Doi!)
I disagree. It is an exploit and a bug. At the risk of revealing too much, it isn't experimentation or resource quality that makes this happen.
It has been reported and acknowledged as such.
Take care,
