I had an experience where I was putting in a bit of milk and I kept getting the message "Cannot recycle. There is no base resource type for this resource" or something to that effect. After scratching my head over it for a short while I realized that my inventory was full, so I shuffled stuff around a bit, and then everything went smoothly. Weird messages that have no relation to the error don't help resolve the problem

They take scrap resources and turn them into generic, low-quality, stackable resources...for instance n a creature recycler you can put scraps of wooly hide, scaley hide, and bristley hide in and get one big stack of "processed hide" out...great for tailors and making subcomponents. All the stats of the processed item are fixed at 200.
