It may be junk, but it's new junk!
And yes, theyr'e nto streetlamps... i prefer Table Lamps.. so most o fmine get named that way now.
All i can say is get creative with the names 
they'll sell for more that way

would be nice if the radio could be added to your house to provide ambient music when you are in that house. Locational Ambient music events exist in every other game.

I still think thats the point of the radio. They have been talking about adding new licensed music to game for awhile now. And i think this is the way to listen to it without having to find what switchs it on.

heheh I found a use for the Streelamp. I have a fountian in my museum on Starsider. I am placing street lamps in it as floating lighting for the fountian when it is night time looks rather cool when they light up

you seem to be forgetting some stuff like baskets, bowls, bottles, slave brazier and throw pillows...i like the radio it just for decoration nothin more...the droids are creepy since they still move even without there heads...and i think there is a bug for street lamps...but i love all this new loot...

A better ability for the radio would be for it to play MP3's in game for you. It wouldnt need to be heard by other people. Even an older game like Motor City Online would allow you to do this

how about the new gambeling table, it takes a smuggler to make and has a use command but it dosnt do anything, i had to give it to my friend to make, whats up with that?

That's just SOE trying to spread the love around to several different professions. Don't worry too much about it. Just think, a lot of the combatpeople probably have the exact same thought about the new artisan loot. "I have to get an artisan to make this for me? What's up with that?"
