Welcome back, Guru!

Nothing new here.

Hope all is well.

Hope you had a good time! We all need a vacation now and then.
Elyssa kept everything in order while you were gone and we saw
little in changes from the devs for Artisan, almost not much of a
peep from devs at all really.

Somehow we've got to get through to these devs, Guru. I mean,
how can we get them to expand the role of Artisan without basically
effecting a supposed 'role' that novices are expected to stay.

I really think that the game would be better served with a variety of

schematics being made for useful advantages, consumable of course!

Having made the call for fireworks changes, many times, I'd bet

older veterans see my point in the lack of Artisan usefulness to

little functionality. I mean, fireworks are cool, but the interface the

devs made to use them is so painful that no one but the strongest

individuals will drudgingly live through the pain of loading the

numbing fireworks packages. If drag-n-drop was instituted I

guarantee more players would buy fireworks everyday!

Maybe, in time, we can find better uses for some of the items I've

espoused, but right now it's just a bunch of random useless items.

Having played the game for two years now, can we really say that

overall Artisan gameplay imbalanced anything by potentially giving

schematics for novice weapons and such to Artisans? I say no.

Taken the fact that we are so wrapped up in vehicles as our nirvana

and there's little else to provide a variety of daily interaction with the

greater SWG playerbase, I hope that the devs will look to make an

expansion of Artisan schematics for everyday use.

I agree. The Devs need to feel the same pain we feel when we're forced to mindlessly and repeatedly click click click the crafting interface just to make any progress in the profession. Surely there is something that can be done about our loss of armor schematics because of the CU as well. And why is it that the only truly "cool" item we make is fireworks? I guess all we can do is pray for attention.

Too tricky for the masses, Elyssa. Of course, by the masses, I mean me.

I admit it wasn't my best effort.
It was almost 3am.
