Thread: What to Craft at Engineering III?

When I reached Engineering III a few days ago, the first thing that I made was a bone armor helmet. I experimented on it and as a result I got 400 XP!! 400!! Yes, it required a bit of bone and hide. There are a couple of scouts in my PA who were able to give me what I need, which is why I suggest you join a PA.

I haven't been on for a few days and plan to get on tonight. Everyone wants to get up to Master level in such a hurry. Not me, I am taking my time to better understand the crafting system. I look at my resources to see what their strengths are and make sure to use them appropriately. I take the time to learn the experiment system, to learn how to best manipulate an item's durability, damage, range, etc. I have made a few CDEF Carbines and Rifles, but the people who have bought them have told me how effective they are, that their HAM points don't drop drastically when using special attacks. By the time I get to the Master level, I will know not only how to craft the weapon, but how to make it better. I'd rather learn it now, at the lower levels, when I can get resources, then get to the master level and make a worthless item.

Just a thought
