My old enhances I could get to 829 but using identical resources post patch I am only getting to 800... Ahh well I could be doing something wrong.

Doesn't matter, Devs have posted that they are taking the craft change back out on Wed.

True, but I would imagine this crafting proposal will get tested more thoroughly than it ever could be on test center. The sheer variety of resource combinations and skill point setups on the live servers is just not there on test. I'd hope the feedback from today will show what the crafting proposal does right and what needs to be looked at again.

Maybe so, but not gonna have a whole lot of people seeing it here.

Hi, I've just mastered Artisan on Flurry, wow. It was only a little annoying survey4 but I did it with a good 30s macro.

Now I have a simple question:

asMaster Artisan I can't craft a simple item with decent statistics. For example a Generic Crafting Tool witheffectiveness better than -10.05 when I often see at vendors +13/14.

Is it just a matter of resource high stats (in this case 100% conductivity) or does it depend also on the type of the resources? For example Steel is better than Alluminium and so on?

Thanks

pull out a specialist "General, Weapon and Droid" toolkit, stand next to a crafting station of the same name, and build one... you will get a menu, including "Experiment", muck about with this, and you will get a better result....

I take it that you were just grinding XP, rather than actually playing Artisan....

Yes I actually was as my holo1 said Master Artisan.

But I found an unattended interest in this prof that I'll experiment for other 2-3 weeks.

I'll do as you told hoping to get better results. ... thanks

as the guy above said about using the weapon tool & experimenting. Only conductivity counts, so copper is about the only resource that will have above 900, all other stats don't matter for this type of product.

A special thanks for the help.

As the matter I could found the best resource I could and run several experiments to get the best item. Actually I got a modest +4,86 but I could understand well how experimentation works using it also for medic items. I had fun in learning that. I crafted a complete set of surveyers and tools and now I'm crafting and put on work some harvestors for wind, mineral, chemical and so on. I understood that I can put and run herversters till dropping Artisan, right?, because there's no certification. Lol, If I only had know this before I'd not have lost hours in collecting directly som resources in k-quantity ...

I crafted 4 speeder with the best shock resistance I found, above 900 in any case, hoping to sell the vehicles for good prices or for my future use.

Finally I did Master Artisan for holo1 request but when I tried it a little I found that it's a very nice profession.

Have fun!
