Thread: Vehicles For the Serious Master Artisan...
Not to bitch but you people have no sence of buissness what so ever if someone offers 200k like when mounts come i will take it
our markup for speeders should be at least 100% profit dammit a jewler marks his items up 200%
for christ sake
how come it was ok for mounts to go up to 300k but now speeders should stay at 35-40k?????
what r you thinking i ran a 100k a week buissness for 5 years and never would the company say charge less so we dont rip off the consumers!
if your selling less just to look like a nice guy then dammit give em for free you wont even make enough money to buy a small house on those profit margins .
ill tell you now CH took advantage on the first day i payed 50k for mine cause i got on early when they went up to 200k i was happy for them
so why is everyone freaking out saying ill sell them for less then this guy , when in truth you'll sell it for 300k when someone begs you for 1 running around cornet /yell will pay 300k for any speeder
am i wrong?

Why not Ford do it.
Nomi-Vigilante wrote:But the big wig on the forum just announced two or three days ago that when they hit Live that Shock Value will not matter. He said that "at first" the quality won't matter at all.
QUOTE: "The way schematics currently work are the way they are going to work. I know its only two components currently and in the future, its going to change. This is only the first iteration of vehicles.Subcomponents and "hot rod" like handling of chassis, engines and parts is something I have clearly communicated to the Live Lead Designer and he agrees and once we finish work on getting professions polished, the combat changes complete, loot improvements, content added and the GCW upgraded, this stuff will be added to the game (along with display models).
I know its important and when we get closer to the "in-development" phase, Ill post more on the issue and give you a heads up that its time to focus discussions on this sort of thing.
For now, things are basic and will evolve.
One thing I want to say though is remember that that the ore required for vehicles at this point DOES NOT effect the quality of the vehicle - - any ore thats pulled out of the ground will produce vehicles of the same (relative) quality, whether the ore is good or bad which should keep prices at a reasonable level. If not, then we will adjust the resource rates once that data is known and measured as opposed to estimated

Or did this get changed and I missed it. My understanding was the very first release LIVE would not differentiate between shock value until a later date when they could "make things better".

Just a troll here......I think you guys will be shooting yourselves in the feet (foot) to sell your product low. As much money is being thrown around in this game your bikes should sell for more than 200k ea. Why? Did you see what happened when creature mounts came out? Yes, there was some quick selling going on the first few days, but now ( being a Ch ) I cant give the **edit** away. Best make the money while you can. Stay tight as a class and keep your prices high.

ps. will take bounties on artisans who low ball the rest of you.
I am a master artisan and 4/3/1/4 armorsmith. SR is an important property for armor metals, and I have stocked accordingly. Since 10cpu for armor materials is on the low end, I will not sacrifice my armor metals for less than that. And I don't have a stock of LQ metals after grinding.
Just my position, ya'll do whatever works for you.
SR does matter ... look for TH's post that list out the final schems ... see where he lists the hit points in a range? that is based upon SR ... so if your got crappy resources, your vehichles Hit Points are going to be crappy ... (sorry, to lazy to go find it for you)
