No flames ment here.. but comparing high BER harvesters and a good armorer is like saying a artisan with a good power up vender is a great crafter..(great merchant with a nice stock) harvesters take nice durralloy, kamarris, a nice intrusive/extrusive and some chem.. of coarse the parts.. but they dont count : ) anyone can make high BER harvesters with just a month of mining.. its all common stuff.. But still kudos to making good ones..


Armorers on the other hand.. though that poster is totally wrong in saying there is more resources now.. for most smiths.. (comp drones) yes this is the case.. there are only slightly more named resources.. and if they are a good smith they will have much of the new stuff.. as it was always the best to use to make armor.. ill point um out in the list : ) . yes if you count how many you use in comp but compared to make of the armors its just slightly increased.. now you know why most armorers never made padded or wookie armor

plexite gems, Kreol fire gems, bal'tra'ran amphorus gems (bal'tra'ran is used many times in kin layers as its the best gem normally, the other plexite is a tailor named.. this will be hard to find good and the fire gems., well good luck on that


ardanium siliclastic,malab siliclastic ore (malab was always a good choice for some layers)


atlantium carbontie ore, frasium carbonite ore, chormite carbonite ore (none of these where ever any good for armor)


Gravtonic fiberplast, dath fiberplast (gravtronic possibly might have.. Dath fiber is just one step down from the best naboo ive seen)


vintrium extruisve,dylinium (vintrium used in comp by most smiths the other,.. they wont have)


perovskitic alumiun (unless some uber rolled in find a ship wright)


thallium copper, mythra copper (weaponsmith stuff.. unlikly a smith would have this.. though many crafters would have it)


phirik alumiunum, link-steel alumiun (another one that smiths would have ..Best in comp)


dant wooly, naboo bristly (wooly possibtly, naboo bristly unlikly


carbonite steel ( if they made ubese its very likly they have it)


Soo acually belive it or not.. smiths are not to bad off with this new stuff.. the carb ores are by far the hardest to find good but if they were a good smith and made more than just comp.. then this wont even phase um.. if they where a comp drone then they are SOL...there worst part is that armor crafting is just plan is a mess right now and there is no way its going to be sorted out in a day or soo.. that right there makes them the hardest hit.. an other thing too most of the new named stuff is all in layers and right now.. layers are basically useless.. soo the new resources are cut down to about 5..


Bio's there pets are getting totally rocked.. there tissues are not touched and they get tons of new stuff that they can easily pick up from docs, or armorers soo really in this CU Bio's made out like bandits as long as they dont have a huge back stock of pets.. cuase they aer getting hit huge with the nerf bat.


Chefs.. there foods are all changed and they need a huge revamp.. yet again


WS dont seem that hard hit which is odd seeing to me weapons are the first line of combat.. but what do i know right?

Hmm what about the guard feature is broken (the CU upgrade notes say its fixed, but DE corr said it was still busted), armor modules dont show on the droids that they are instaled on, level 5 & 6 armor modules can not be built due to the AS component needed isnt craftable any more. stimpack dispencers wont accept the new stim-a's, droid's health recharges at a extreme rate making the auto repair modules obsolete (i got mixed emotions about this), etc.


I could go on with more modules/features that were hit with the nerf bat pre and post CU in the last few months. Most are just oversites/bugs and will hopefully be fixed in the months following the CU.

DE combat droids are now useless, but in truth it is the armorsmiths taking it in the can....I'm a current master DE, ex master Armorsmith, so I have a referrence.


Fortunately, given time, the Armorsmiths will be ok....once the bugs are worked out. DE is a balance thing.

Its still early. What makes BH so attractive are its specials are usable with any ranged weapon (or almost any). People are still experimenting with templates, plus being able to "test" hunting bounties makes it attractive. I have sold 100 crates of BH droids in the last two days and I'm running up another factory run of both....

ahh seems to me artisan .. no more bone armor .. i use to sell a ton and power ups blow now .. and exo waffers ... argh 12 sec durration?


i know most people dont sell arisan stuff .. it just a step on their way to elite crafting .. but i was a 14 point artisan .. made very nice bone armor and exo waffers

Considering that most of my customers have left the game, I'd say pretty much all crafting professions have taken a hit permanently.
