Thread: Which way to go
As I am a new player and member of SWG as a whole, I have been researching and browsing the forums to get a better idea of the game, and which professions I would like to partake in. I have decided to take up;
Artisan (For DE)
Brawler > Unarmed (For TKA)
Imperial Navy Pilot (Because it's cool)
But Marksman has got me somewhat stuck. I use a carbine, but do not want to become a carbineer. I have carried on up the Ranged Support ladder, but do not know what the professions this leads to actually do, or really are fully (how they function ingame).
So i thought best to come on here and ask. I value all your comments as you are all experianced and good gamers of SWG, well not all but the majority of the forums. If you could give me some advice or your thoughts on thid matter it would be much appreciated, and would help me develop my character.

I can tell you right now, that if you want to go master droid engineer, and Mater TKA, you are wasting what little sp you hve left in any marksman skillboxes, drop novice marksman altogether, and pick up soemthing useful, likea bleed from fencer, or a better armorbreak from swordsman.
I don't really fully understand the whole profession trees yet, like what profession to chose with another. Thank you for your advice though, I shall keep this in mind.
But what was that stuff about a corpse? Was that an attempt at an insult or what? If your going to post, why try and be cocky, or take the piss? any ways, I have created a new char now, as my 1st one was very confused as far as professions go. But I have my BARC speeder on my origional one, is there any way to trade items from one char to another?

yep, as a bh who has a pretty decent success rate, and one who is very persistant, I am not a very popular person, even among my own faction's jedi. Being a Bh means you gotta live with a lot af anger towards you. I was talking with a buddy of mine in vod inya, and he said that. so i told him I was stealing the line for my sig, giving him due creidt of course.
If any new player on Valcyn wants to travel that road, I will be more tha happy to help with trraining equipment, and advice. If a CSR or a dev can ever figure out how to unbugg me, I might even invite you to my guild, once you get your first 220k solo kill in.

I was mysteriously booted frommyguild
I can't be accepted into any guild.
after several csr tickets to get a response that was relevent, I found out that I am SOL until the devs find the problem. So.....unless I want to reroll and regrind a template, plus get fs again, I am pretty much going to be guildless on my alt forever.
Did you ask them if they can remake your character?

You should be able to rejoin your guild (but expect daily bootings) This is a known bug that has affected the devs, correspondents (and funny enough - guild leaders *poof bye bye guild)

I found a NEW bug then, I can't even be accepted into my guild, I can be sponsered, but instead of my name appearing on the sponsered list, creature showed up. when fenrir tries to accept creature, nothing happens, but he gets he option to sponser me again.
