I'd say #2 because currently it is very very very annoying looking for a DE to customize my droid. Also not to gripe... well to gripe, the current droid customization time really needs to get fixed.

First off, this is not a must have item. I don't see myself even bothering to make these if I have to worry about parts from other professions. Then like everything else, after the initial release, the raw materials will be worth more then the product. Its kind of strange how complicated the paint kit is compared to the actual vehicles...

Let the DE's build them... I don't see any profit...let them paint them too...
