The crates of Master Artisan Components are only 25. Compare that to composite armor segments which come in crates of 50. The components are used so much by all the other elite crafting classes, that for ease of use (and possibly database issues) the number of items per crate should be raised to at least 50, but IMO more like 100.

Look at the "size" of the actually item. A power conditioner is prob a lot bigger than a armor segment.

Electronic Memory Module and Electronic GPU modules are just chips. They come in crates of 25 each, and I use 4 of each in an advanced droid brain which also comes in a crate of 25. I go through so many of these bloody componenets a week that it's just annoying to have to drag 40 stacks each time.

I take it you've never seen the size of a High Tech Field Base Kit. Your 'size' argument is moot. I wish the MA items came in bigger crate sizes myself.

25 was a size that seemed real logical back when you could only do factory runs of 100. Since it has changed to 1000 schematic runs per time, 25 does not see a very logical number anymore. I know the Devs are always complaining about how more items create a greater stress on the servers, it would be in their interest to increase certain factory crates to 50 items per.

An interesting idea would be allow a min/max crate size. Say maybe for crates of artisan parts, 25-100, with the max increasing as you get closer to master...

I'm all for bigger crate sizes, would make life a lot easier and decrease database size for all those parts (plus make it a whole lot easier if I ever decide to move...)

I'd kill for a larger crate size, I've already had to strip most decoration out of my home for more space plus I had to place a second home just for storage.

The problem with the small size of Master Artisan component crates or crates in generalmight not be a killer for most Elite crafters, but for a DE it's a real challenge. With at at least 41 of ouritems directly needing MA parts, the luxury of having a crate of 100 instead of 25 would be a massive space saver for all of us and the database.

The devs are always complaining about DB issues... so this would be one way instead of nerfing merchants.

Think it's related more to factory type than anything, my runs in my F&C are in 50-unit crates, the Equipment Factory spits out 25 at a time. Hopefully the devs will address this, but even a simple switch like this is probably low on the priority list.

It's not just the factory type. My equipment factory makes Master Artisan components in crates of 25, Advanced Droid Frame Units in crates of ten, and finished droids in crates of five.
