Hello,

sorry if there is a sticky with this infomation - i had a brief look through them but couldnt see anything.

I have got my hands on a powerplant and schematic for an AV-21. I just really wondered what resources ill need to get hold of to make it, and what stats will need to be high on those (ie decay resistance, overall quality etc.) and how much of each resource.

Thanks in advance

Well, your schematic tells you everything you need to know.

The resources are exactly the same as a normal Landspeeder:

3125 of Steel / Iron

1125 pf Alum / Copper

Plus the AV21 parts obviously.

Shock Resistance is the stat you need to be looking at.

You can find 990+ steel / iron, but generally you'll only find stats below 900 for copper / aluminium.

I think it will only tell you if you are a Master Artisan, which im not. Im gathering the resources myself to make sure i have good ones, then ill find someone to build it. Thanks for the reply

Phrik Aluminium is the good stuff.

Though on my server I have never seen the SR over 870

I've made a couple using 1000KSR iron and 897SR Phrik, both capped at 97%. I know someone that made theirs with 900SR phrik and again capped at 97%. Aluminium seems to cap at 900SR (although a friend said she once saw spawn of 903SR aluminium but it only lasted 7hrs before shifting) so 97% is as good as you will ever get with the current crafting system.

We got lucky that I had a really old spawn of 890 SR Phrik and a recent spawn of 1000 SR Kammris. I experimented up to 96%.

Having said that, Assembly tapes and the assembly bonus food are almost requirements when putting together high ticket items like this, IMO.

I don't know, one of the AV's i crafted got up to 99%. Using very high SR materials, and got lucky, had 3 amazing sucesses mixed in with all greats.

Using those resources I capped at 97% experimentation with one point to spare. For one I had just greats, the other had amazings and greats, but they both capped at 92%. When did you get the 99%? could it have been when the devs tried changing the crafting system?

Make sure you use a good crafting station and tool as well. There have been several horror stories on the board about Crit Fails.

Powerplant goes bye-bye.

Not too long ago, maybe a week or two ago.
