Thread: tricks that keep harvestor checks to a minimal pain....
Message Edited by Jnath on 03-30-2004 03:40 PM
I think that'sa bug. Have had that several times but seems to correct itselfby turning the harvie off and on, so I generally have mymacro start with the following before I add power, pay maintenance etc;
/harvesterDeactivate;
/harvesterActivate;
/stru;
And btw, you're not lazy, prefer to call it efficient. When you run a lotof 20 harvs, it's a waste of time doing all that stuff on the radial menu. Macro it and move on I say ![]()

I did discover a new tidbit from the Tuesday Tips and doing some playing around with it at home.
Try this macro for setting up a harvester:
- /nam Some clever name here;
- /setPermissions [admin|hopper] PlayerName
- /addp 12600;
- /pay 25000;
- /ui action radialMenu;
This last command will open the radial menu. You can then move your mouse over the second menu (2) and then Click on Operate Machine. Saves having to right click the harvester.

How is it possible to have 20 harvesters? How do you get more than 10 lots? Just a n00b wondering. Thnx.
Method 1. 2 accounts.
Method 2. use the lots of another player (They must place the harvester and give you admin to it.)
There may be others but these will get you 20 lots that you control. It is the control rather than ownership that is the key. Often guilds that have a lot of memebers that don't use all their lots will pool the lots and have one 'committee' operate the lots.

Does the /setPermissions [admin|hopper] PlayerName support multiple names? I have three accounts plus 3 business partners I want all my alt's and my partners to have access to the harvies. But putting in 5 names every time I move my harvesters is getting annoying.
I am at work now and can't test but is it possible do this /setPermissions [admin|hopper] PlayerName1; PlayerName2; PlayerName3; etc etc?
That would be AWESOME!
Nice thread with good tips. I will definitely use the macros.
