I have been living on Naboo since beta and I have never been able to place a harvester on a concentration better than 50%. EVERY concentration of anything is mysteriously pulled to a city (player or otherwise) a severley mountainous terrain or a river. I am absolutely sure this is by design. It's too much of a coincidence. Actually I've had a good 70%'er where I could not drop a harvester, not allowed, in a completely REMOTE part of Naboo, no cities or other obstacles anywhere! This is so frustrating that it becomes pointless to survey on Naboo. I don't know if anybody else has noticed this but it really has gotten to the point where it's futile to even try. I GIVE UP!

Odd, I just placed 4 heavy harvesters on some very good berries on Naboo, 70%+

Friend has about 70 chemical harvers on 83-96% fiberplast. Nice big open flat area north of Theed.

I dont know if you know this but it might be your problem for not being able to place harvs in a seemingly open area. One creature spawn nearby can make it to where you cant place a harv. I have found areas like this that I really had to look for the spawn. The areas were open and I just knew that was the cause, found them , destroyed them , bam, layed my harvs. Dont know if this is your problem but hope it might help.

Really!? I think Naboo is one of the easiest planet to place harvesters on. Correlia is however a pain IMO

The flat plains around Kaadara have to be one of the easiest places to put up a harvestor...always the first place I check when something good pops up on Naboo.

Whenever I can't build on Naboo, and I'm not near any lairs, I open my map to see if I'm anywhere close to Keren. Keren has the largest no-build zone of any city, anywhere. It is quite ridiculous, and extends out many kms. Can be very frustrating. However, in general, Naboo is one of the easier planets to find good places to place harvesters on. Lots of flat areas, especially on the flat coastal plains of the north, and on the upper plains above that. Sometimes things are only spawning right in cities, but that is rare. In that case, unless it is a planet-specific resource, I just look to see what other planet the resource is spawning on.

I agree. I live 1.2km outside kaadara, and the only times I ever need to go farther than 2km to find what im looking for, is if I'm harvesting ore.

Thanks, you guys are great. I went to Kaadara and dropped 4 heavies on a 85% concentration of Steel right next to each other. I have been surveying around Naboo which is a nightmare. Thanks for all the suggestions!

That area, about 1.5 km sw of kadaara, is a sweet spot for naboo. Everything but ore pops there in 70% or better. Ore I tend to place outside Theed. Every planet has an area where I survey first, and rarely have to move out of that area.
On tatooine, there is a flat plains type area, between bestine and wayfar ( usually a player city near there, making transport easy). Everything you could possibly want, and very little placing problems.
On Corellia, we have player city called Bellerofonte on Chimaera, It's near the eastern coast. About 1k out of there, and I rarely have to hunt elsewhere for anything.
On Dath, the science outpost, but placing is difficult for heavies. Thankfully, I have BER 5 personals
( made super tuesday).

Ive got 27 heavy minerals on some 86% steel. Naboo is the easiest place imo.

i think tatooine is the best for harvesters. there are HUGE open flat areas that could fit hundreds of harvesters. the only thing is you might not find a high % of what youre looking for.

Lok, Tatooine and Naboo are my favorite worlds. Endor, Dathomir, and Dantooine least favorite.
