Thread: I need 40,000 GCexp...
What's the best way to get it?
I've heard power-ups are pretty decent if not repetitive... are there any other suggetions for clearing the gap (have Engineering III)?

Power up are the most bang for your buck at a 4 per 1 payout , but I’ve been hearing good things about reinforced staffs and axes as well.
BONE ARMOR!!!
At least thats what I did, and as a side benefit you can make some good credits. I sell my bone armor pieces anywhere from 500 to 3000 depending on the item. I buy all the hides and bones I can get my hands on and pay 5 credits per unit, then make armor and sell it. Least I did till I hit novice weaponsmith..now I do it sparingly to finish off my master artisan.

I'm actually going the way of Weaponsmith/Pistoleer, so I've been taking Destroy missions here and there which tend to provide plenty of bone and hide for my crafting pursuits. I didn't spend points on Clothing I skill, so I've been sort of forced to buy the Fiberplast Plates needed for armor, but fortunately they keep popping up on the Bazaar.
Why wouldn't you buy bone and hide and make armor for sale?
Here is what I did, and how it put me in a position to have my 10 allowable slots for buildings and such used up, and 50k in my pocket. I started the game by doing delivery missions to epsa and back from Eisly. I did that for about 2 hours for a net of just over 10k credits. That allowed me the flexibility to pay for training, or tip others for it, AND to buy bones/hides to begin crafting. Its not like they keep the money..they buy the armor back, and I make a nice profit off it as well as gain crafting XP. I can buy 250 hides and 250 bones for 2500, and make 8-9k off the goods. Oh, and no need to worry about whether they'll sell or not....as soon as I put it on the bazaar, it goes.
So, now I have the cash I need to put up my harvesters and keep them well maintained while I work in town. I am well off already, and on my way to weaponsmithing masterdom
So, I really dont see anything wrong with buying the bones and hides...it puts money in the gunbunnies pockets so they can then buy my goods..liek weapons and armor...see, it works.

Crafting tools are good in engineering. I like wraps in domestic. Both take a fairly high level of resource which reduces my click/xp ratio.
In Beta I made wookie hoods that used to require 45 fiberplast and 25 petro which was fantastic.. huge xp from 60 resource items with very little clicking. Unfortunately, they changed that recipe. So now, 35 resource from the wraps seems to be best.
For the bazaar its entirely different. I DO make use of ALL my bazaar slots, and have been making money. I dont make armor because, on principle, I object to armor. I have found other things to sell instead. However.. I need to make far more things to advance then I will ever sell.. so when I need some very low impact gamin/socializing I just grind on high resource items.

your xp will be proportional to the amount of xp the item takes. = your xp will be proportional to the amount of resources the item takes.

I try to sell or custom-make most of my gear, and sure enough, I've made the last of the xp for all my engineering boxes while I was out running missions, off the usage xp.
I dunno about you guys, but Travel Packs are what I make....
I just sit on a 97% Fiberplast point and craft while harvesting. Travel packs are very cheap in everything except fiberplast, and you get good XP for them. I just sat down and got a few thousand worth of Fiberplast over like an hour and then crafted away, BAM. Uberexp!
