Thread: What are you Grinding?
chest plate for bone armor gives you a ton of exp
Does anyone know what gives you the MOST. I don't care how many resources
What am I grinding? NOTHING! I hated grinding so I don't!
At lower levels I make and sold (or just used) fireworks. As my ability to experiment improved I focused on leasrning to make high quality items and find items that are in demand. Right now I sell nearly everthing I make. Anything that doesn't pass my standard of quality becomes a "practice" so I don't have to do the make...destroy cycles anymore. But all my good stuff sells.
Grinding is boring and you miss out on learning important information like how to make the best, what is in demand, and what are good prices.
I don't really grind. I have been getting my xp from traps / camps (I'm working on Scout), and just experimenting with different stuff. I have been trying to figure out how, exactly, resource quality affects crafted / experimented items. I have made some real nice bone armor, with nearly every experiment a great or amazing success. And they have given me a lot of XP. Of course, I am a wookie, so the armor is all an academic exercise. And the same with cooking and clothes. Of course, I have been Eng III for a while now, but I haven't really lost interest, or been burned out on crafting yet.
I make a lot of survey machines, because I keep discarding them when I run out of room in my inventory, and I don't feel like running back to the city to put it in my vault.
For medical, I didn't grind at all, per se, because I used / sold every single stimpack and med-pack I made. In fact, I sometimes had to buy them to keep up with use, which was just fine with me.
I've not really done any grinding until late. The easiest I've found to grind has been chemical survey tools. I can use one cheap metal like Alum, Steel, etc. for all 4 slots. Think total resource is 22 for a total of like 51 xp if doing practice. I try not to grind but sometimes get frustrated with how far I have to go till can work on a specific profession. Just my 2 cents.

I heard backpacks were pretty good
Backpacks are a great resource for making credits. Just find a city where none are for sale on the bazaar and keep them stocked. Also anything that's black sells well--even the lower end clothing. Black boots and gloves still sell great for me.

Absolutely nothing.
I fail to see the point of grinding as it is not neccesary and what is more frustrating is so many people (though no one so far in this thread) complain bitterly about it.
There is NO forced grinding in SWG, it is entirelyoptional.
Hmmm, sort of going off the subject here, sorry ![]()
