don't know if it'sa bug or not, but vendors no longer list resource family names and the quantity, just the generic names such as iron or steel. Real annoying and I hope this gets fixed soon.

AFAIK there isn't a way to create a schematic for a Generic Crafting Tool nor experiment during the creation of one. The schematic is now only visible from the Generic Item tab on the GC Tool, a tab which doesn't appear on the condensed WDG tool.
Besides the obvious issues here, it also means that crafting a good quality Lightsaber tool becomes difficult, or at least more difficult then it needs to be as you have to start with a Generic Tool to mak an unexperimented low quality LS tool, which you can /then/ use to experiment up a better LS tool.
It also means you are SOL if you don't have a GC to begin with (I know i delete mine as soon as I got a WDG)
How to fix the problem: Let GC tools experiment next to a WDG Station just like LS tools, or simply add the schematic for GC Tools back into the WDG tool.

I think this qualifies as an OOPS.

Here is the known list of bugs as of earlier today:
1 - Vehicles and Droids being available from the Toolbar. - This is notavailable and was erroneously in the Publish Notes and should be removed, if it hasn't already.
2 - Badges and the "Tab" - The Publish Notes erroneously say there is a new Tab that contains the Badges, however, there is no newTab.
3 - Switching weapons/armor in combat is not showing in the Combat Queue. - Dev is looking into getting a visual display in the Combat Queue to show this. No ETA at this time.
4 - Junk Dealers and the new crafting quests. - Not every Junk Dealer gives these quests. People will have to do some investigating on their own to find the right ones.
5 - Items with the zero condition - We're still waiting for a list from everyone and trying to compile information on our own. The quicker we can get this list, the quicker Dev will be able to figure out the problem and how to get it fixed.
6 - Vendor/Bazaar Resource Display error - Dev is already working on fixing the issue where the specific name and amount do not show on the vendor listing. You currently have to view the description to find out.
7 - PSGs and Armor with Lightsaber resists - Dev is currentlyinvestigating this. No additional information at this time.
8 - Jedi Exp loss multiplying upon cloning - This is the issue where you die, get revived and then die and clone and lose exp for each time you were killed. So, die twice and get revived each time and then die and clone results in losing 600k exp instead of just 200k. Dev and QA are working on verifying this to determine a course of action. No addiitonal information at this time.
9 - Force Crystals/Pearls that can't be tuned - You must be a Padawan before you will be able to tune your crystals. This isn't a bug, but rather people trying to tune crystals and pearls before they finish going through the conversion process.
10 - Deconstructing sabers with a full inventory - Making room in your inventory should allow the excess pearls to return to your inventory after 5-10 minutes.

I don't know if it's a bug or an intended change to the Droid crafting tool, but are personal mining units ( a staple of the Artisan profession) now only experimentable with Architect experiment points?? or did they just get missed in the condensation of the Droid/Weapon tools?

So people can't experiment on generic crafting tools right now? What a shame. And here I am, with numerous crates full of 14.97 generic crafting tools. Hmmm.

Some of my survey tools are showing up with the "red background" added for 0/x condition items. I'm sure these are items that have decayed to 0% from death decay (newly crafted ones look fine), but since 0% condition has never bothered them before...
Oh, and they do continue to work fine. So I guess I'm not sure whether the red background is the bug, or functional 0% condition survey tools is the bug.

My character has a red flora survey device tool and has never died.. Is this a bug also may have something to do w/ the stat's being under 0%? Not from death but from experimentation?

It is more serious than that. Unless something has changed in the last 10 hours, people can't experiment WITH generic crafting tools much less on just creating a new (better) one. So, those artisans who can't afford one of every other crafting tool so they can experiment on the items they can make are screwed. Plus, you can't use a generic crafting tool to make the other crafting tools - you have to buy them or be given them. All in all, a big screw-the-pooch by SOE. I hope they're fixing it so that generic item crafting tools can experiment when near a weapon/droid/general crafting station and can access the hoppers on privately owned stations.

This is a known and confirmed bug and is on the "Fix very fast" list.
Just FYI.
