Ok, this might sound like a dumb question, but can someone please tell me where you get them from? Also the other tool, the flow thingy...sorry...i forget the name. Im just really new to this.

So how do i get them now for my slicing?

How am i suppose to get slicing XP then if i can clamp stuff...cus otherwise you jusr ate guessing all the time.

I would find a high level Smuggler or Artisan and buy them for now, or you can make them in a crafting kit. I think Droid engineer makes some of them too but i could be wrong. Eventualy as you go up in skill you will be able to make them yourself.

I dont think that artisans can make them. I dont know what to do since i have like a 1 in 4 chance to slice without things like that.

Slicing is all about luck. Flow Analyzer Nodes help improve that luck, you won't use these to grind up terminals, use them on weapons that you don't want to lose. Still, FAN's are not foolproof, only Molecular Clamps will guarantee perfect success every time you slice. Only a master Slicer can be sure he won'tfail the weapon or armor he's attempting. til you get there, you will fail, a *lot*.

As the previous poster mentioned, the best place to get FAN's and Clamps is master slicers. Previous to today's nerf, these were not entirely useful when grinding, but if you buy a nice little pile of copper, you might want to guarentee every slice you do for maximum gain.

Verified Master Artisan's can make FAN's and Engineering I- Tinkering for Laser Knife. I am still checking to see if Droid Engineer can make Molecular Clamps [They could in beta]. If you could get a Artisan to make you a factory run then they would come stacked in creats for convenice.

hi im going to be hitting novice smuggler soon so i want to purchase some molecular clamps in advance so im ready........i know lots of you think that novices shouldn't be able to use clamps but thats just your opinion........so if there are any smugglers who would sell me clamps please post your in game name and the price i would like to buy crates preferablly
