Thread: crafting XP very fast IMO
sorry for last empty post.
Here is what i did last night, collected my 1K copper from hopper and just it to craft tools (complexity 11) by using 2 crafting tools. and using other resources (200 ) I finished 2 in one minute, each give like 70xp( not exactly sure) in practice mode.I almost finished Eng IV in less than 1 hr.
I dont know about how xp in elite prof, i think it wont be that bad because
1) 99% i succeed creating the item
2) the item finish fast and I can use more than 1 tools to craft
3) no need to destroy item if your inventory full (what a great thing of practice)
I know we need hundreds of thoudsans xp in prof but relatively each item we craft give more xp. so.. I really dont know where people complaining xp grind comes from
What I find funny is that it only costs 13000 GCXP to get an entire Artisan column (Engineering, Domestic Arts, or Business) and 39000 GCXP to get all three, but the Novice skills for the Advanced professions cost:
Armorsmith: 16800
Weaponsmith: 21000
Droid Engineer: 28800
Architect: 33000
Tailor: 19200
Chef: 19200
(Merchant isn't on this list because it doesn't require GCXP)
This is why people are grinding for XP, not necessarily for the base skills. Granted, it became way easier when they introduced Practice.
actually its less, 500 for tier 1 1000 for tier 2 3000 for tier 3 and 6000 for tier 4 for a grand total of 10,500gcxp per branch.

The majority of artisans complaining about having no money are the ones that grinded through Novice. Make your powerups, sell them and by the time you hit Eng III you will have plenty of money to run harvesters until you can start selling your better items.
For Novice Weaponsmith, I grinded out Weapons, Droids and General Item crafting tools. I think it ended up at like 60 XP each? Turn off confirmation for crafting under the options menu, get 3 of the tools on your hotkeys up top, and just run them constantly. In the amount of time it took me to craft, 3 was the perfect number of tools I needed to not have to pause.
Also, to save time remember you can DOUBLE CLICK the resource instead of click-drag. Also, remember now to turn on the practice box. You should be able to get it in like 2 hours if you have enough resources built up.
