is it possible to mine 600k in resources per day...i would need 60k of one which is easy... but 600k of the other...do you think i can find 600k at 1 cpu??

at 1cpu? probably not...

mine 600k of resources per day? you can try renting lots from people in your server, but it'll be quite a load of work, and unless you're ready to pay these people a LOT the harvs will be stationary and you won't get what you need when things shift.

... may I ask why it's necessary to make them all in a day?

Well, let's see:

You want: 600,000 units of resources per day.

You've got: 1440 minutes per day. Heavy harvesters pull up 13 units per minute * Concentration%. On a 90% spot, that's just under 17k units of resources per day per harvester. To get 600k per day would require 36 harvesters.

So to get harvest the resources yourself, you're going to need to lot swap (since you only get 10 lots to work with). And it'll have to be with active players if you want to move the harvesters onto high-concentration spots after a shift. Or you'll need even more harvesters to compensate for the times when your field is on a low concentration.

If you're looking for grind-quality stuff, you may be able to buy at 1 cpu, but I think it's unlikely on most servers (2-3 cpu seems the norm). Plus, then you'd probably end up with a bunch of different types of metal. Have you got a recycler? That'd help keep the manufacturing pipeline full (you don't have to make multiple schematics for the different metal types, you can do one big run).

Out of curiousity, are you actually expecting to sell 100 swoops a day?

hmm k.. so basically i would have to buy 600k for about 2 cpu.. which would mean cost per swoop would be at least 13k-14k.. then sell for 20k.. 6k profit per swoop.. so 600k profit for every hundred... hmmm ... that sounds ok.. i guess...where can i buy
600k offerous metalfor 2 cpu on Intrepid....?

uh, that's best left for you to ask on your server trade forum.

aren't recyclers a pain in the backside to get nowadays? I got mine a while back

Oh, and good luck at being able to sell a day's worth of swoops at your break-even point of 2cpu.

Well you might be able to sell 100 swoops a day, but why would you want to anyways? Sounds like a lot of work tracking down all those resources.

I don't think finding grind resources at 1 cpu is really all that common on any server.

Hmm... Well, if quality is not an issue, I know my server has several 1 CPU grind resource shops, but that's not going to help you...

To maximize your own mining though, you might want to check with your local architect for BER 14 heavies. Using the new inspiration buffs several architects on Chimaera has broken that limit and the increase in resources/lot/day is quite nice if you're short on lots.

you know you might want to check out your galaxie vendors and see how many swoops are for sale.. I know some have 1000's and i mean 1000's I looked on the chimeara bazzar for a vehicle there were over 5000 forsale.. I myself dont sell to many when they are stocked maybe 5-10 a week and i get tons of customers daily.. 100 swoops a day i think is setting your goals just a bit to high and IMO your just gonna have 1000's of swoops on a vendor.. but hey.. wanna try it go for it.. just thought you might want some adivce though.. seeing you asked
