So, what's the newly-craftable Doctor Bag supposed to be doing?

When do we expect it to work?

i was wondering this too.

it says it helps sort our meds.... cant put meds in... cant do a sort meds thing from a radial... uhhh... a little help?

It's an item that was placed in game with the thought that it would be used.

However, all doctors are now secretly priests and heal via magic, not meds - so the bag is no longer needed. It's just a relic schematic that was not implemented in the rollout codes (so far, at least)

This magic Bag of Holding (Doc's Bag), seems like it would be useful to my Lvl 9 Cleric (Doc). I could store all my healing potions (stims), potions of heroism (buffs), and my various curing potions (countertoxins).

If such an item functioned as described, it would of great use! For such an item I would gladly trade my Flail +2, Chainmail +1, and two rings of protection!!!

someone looted a wound pack the other day and one of the options on it was to place in doctors bag .... too bad a) I'm not a doc anymore and b) I didn't follow up with him on it ...

To sweeten my offer, I will now add a rare and Mystical Tomb!!! Recently pried form the dead hands of a witch in the fabled Dead Forest! The spells within must be of some use! But alas, I failed my read magic roll...

then i would add 2 hearts and 3 voodoo dolls from the dead forest as well. honestly i havent figured out the correct way to use them anyway. when i danced around them in Coronet it started to rain (hmm... i should try this in Mos Eisley).

As far as the Doctors Bag goes, it would be great if it were a wearable using a shoulder strap, perhaps derived from the Bandolier, wearable only by Doctors. It doesn't even have to DO anything. Anything that separates Doctors from every other schmuck is a Good Thing(tm).

If it could beimbued with the property (if worn) of decreasing the Wound healing timer or increasing Wound Healing HE (which doesn't exist, it seems), then even better, and still not have a large impact on gameplay, I think, since Wound healing is not done in combat.

This is what I hope it does.

You can place one of every enhancer in the bag. Having the enahncer in the bag makes the corresponding skill to automatically use it. Also, the bag always occupies on invenory slot.

This would be ideal!!!

As it stands, noone knows what this is supposed to do. Frustrating to say the least. In the past there has been a call for something like this to be added for Doctors/Medics. Now we have it and it does not function at all and no idea on it proper use. All I can do is /bug it and add it to Tiggs posts on bug issues and hope that someday it wil get addressed.
