Currious to know what the Best possible CDEF ever built would be like.....
I've seen max dmg of 62/(63?....can't recall)
1) But it shouldn't be too difficult to find 950+ oq/cond metal on one of the servers & use 12+ points
To go for max!!
2)Then waste some cash and slice a few of them (looking for a good damage slice)
3) Then put on your best power-up...
Sure it won't be a sliced DE-10 but wonder what the best of you CAN come up with??
A LITTLE COMPETITION IN ORDER - prize is only that of smuggness!!
Post your weapons below (a screenshot would be great - call it something cool
)

Whatever server has the best resources will make the best CDEF.

BTW, you can use those CDEF's to earn tons of AP. How?
1) Pick up marksman 1110 or even 2220, it is super easy with the CDEF's we can make.
2) Give your uber CDEF's to new players for free, but ask them to come to your for training when they level up, which will only take a couple of minutes with those weapons.
You get ton's of AP, new players get quality weapons to start of with, everybody wins.

Never made a weapon...I'm a peace loving wookiee. However, this does sound interesting. I'll give it a try tonight and post the results when I get home.

Nope. I'm afraid none of the weapons that artisans can make will accept a loot component. If theydid we could potentially make some killer weapons by using exceptional loot.

I am a 14 pt artisan on Starsider, and using the best resources I could muster I made the following CDEF Pistol:
Condition: 1019/1019
Attack Speed: 3.2
Min: 31
Max: 64
Wound: 5.0%
Point Blank: +0 @ 0m
Ideal Range: +50 @ 15m
Max: -80 @ 64m
Health: 9
Action: 19
Mind: 9
And now for the base weapon after a 27% damage slice (without power up)
Condition: 1019/1019
Attack Speed: 3.2
Min: 39
Max: 81
Wound: 5.0%
Point Blank: +0 @ 0m
Ideal Range: +50 @ 15m
Max: -80 @ 64m
Health: 9
Action: 19
Mind: 9
And now the weapon with a 27 % damage slice and a power up (32max, 16min, 8mind):
Condition: 1019/1019
Attack Speed: 3.2
Min: 45
Max: 107
Wound: 5.0%
Point Blank: +0 @ 0m
Ideal Range: +50 @ 15m
Max: -80 @ 64m
Health: 9
Action: 19
Mind: 9

Yes, it would be nice if it had an optional "additive" slot like foods. Say, the ability to craft a single standard powerup into a gun to permanently increase its base stats.
My best CDEFs max at damage 62 and speed 3.4. You'll generally see them on the Mos Eisley bazaar as "Mk.1 Hand Blaster", "Basic Energy Carbine" and "ShurShot Rifle".

Very nice - imagine how pleased a new player would be with that!! I would suggest flying to Tato and giving to someone
hopeless (Look for someone incapped by a Rill) ![]()

Acually for CDEF's speed sliced is much better than damage,. and a speed/aim power up.. or a speed/max/aim works best... is much rather have a 2.0 40-75 than some 100 damage 3.0+

Yeah, my CDEF is speed sliced...better damage in combat.
