Thread: Are Vehicles Decaying Faster?

Is it just me, or does it seem as if "swoops" in general, are decaying at a much faster rate.
I stored my bike last night full condition, then pulled it out this afternoon and it's half gone on condition.
Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just me?

That's odd that you brought this up. I noticed tonight while messing around in Cnet (read...shopping 
) that my swoop seemed like it was decaying much faster than normal. Maybe as much as 25-30% faster. I had just gotten it repaired before shopping, so it made it easy to notice.

I know that mine always seem to decay faster if I get a little too close to a Nightsister on my way to the village.

it's not unreasonable that an old bug came back in this publish where the Bikes wouldn't keep their condition upon storing/repulling. i havn't noticed this yet because my Swoop was eaten before i realized that the Faction NPC's don't protect against anything except the oposing faction. a big monkey ate my swoop. forces me to ride in my AV.

Yes i think they are decaying faster i went through about 5 swoops today.... Thanks Jedi.

Actually that brings up an idea I had to motive more people to learn at least Novice Artisian.
We all know that most motorcycle enthusiasts work on their own bikes, as well as car fanatics. There exists vehicle construction skills as well as vehicle repair kits, but how about a Maintainance skill for Artisians? The higher you Maintainance skill, the slower the decay rate for any applicable equipment you have while you're using it?

Not a bad thing that vehicles are decaying faster, no wonder i got a sales BOOM in swoop bikes

I'm pretty sure they are decaying faster. I have noticed this as well. I'm usually hitting the garage up at least twice within a 6-8 hour period it seems.

Yea swoops are decaying far more faster than other vehicles. Notice that they decay by 25 when you call it then decaying by 50 hp each time they decay (or maybe the opposite hehe cant remember atm)... X34 and AV-21 are lasting longer tho. Swoops are annoying as they need maintenance every 3-4 hours hehe
