Just an early head's up. Madman Lead World Dev SSinco thinks vehicles should be even better and he's got an idea that we're going to be testing out today. Here's the scoop: X-34's are slow, Speeder Bikes are medium and Swoops are fastest (will be by live anyway). Its a straight line from here to there to understand that its only a matter of time before most players are using swoops because they will be fastest.

The problem with that is when you race and chase with vehicles, it limits the variety and the possibilities players can have, so what SSinco is doing is tweaking the vehicle code so that X-34's withit's three big engines and undercarriage repulsorlift go up mountains and slopes faster than the other two vehicles. Swoops will be fastest on the straight away, but slower on water and up hills and Speeder bikes will have the strongest midline speed curve and go fastest over water.

By giving each of the vehicles these characteristics, racing and chasing will be more exciting because all vehicles will have strong attributes over the others depending on terrain. This makes having different race tracks important and makes chasing much more exciting and dynamic.

As a result, Test Center will be going up and down a few times as we reset things with the new code changes. I will do my best to let you guys know when things will be going up and down.

Most likely this will be a nerf on the x34 and speederbike. Don't pump anyone's hopes up too high and don't put words in the TH's mouth.

not a nerf its an upgrde YOU HAVE TO RIDE THE VEHICLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS

i am a frequent TC'er atm playing 24/7 testing the vheicles ( well not really 24/7 lol) atm any improvment is better than they are now.....they are same speed.. not sure why you call this a nerf

Yes they are all the same speed now. What he is afraid of it that instead of making them different speeds by speeding up 2 of them, they will make them different speeds by slowing down two of them. You will still get 3 different speeds, but what you have now would be the fastest in one case, what you have now, would be the slowest in the other case.

You clearly don't understand their intent. Right now all vehicles move at nearly identical speeds. They've given us a picture of which one will be faster than another but that says nothing in relation to what they are now.


We do know that before they were even released to TC that TestCenter 2 went up and was used for speed tests. Vehicles on TC right now are probably as fast as they will ever be.



Let's just make a wager. I'll bet you an equipment factory on TC that the x34's FLAT LAND speed gets nerfed. I'll logon and time how long it currently takes an x34 to cover 1km of flat land. After this goes into effect (evidenced by a post from TH) I'll measure it again.

I'm ifele & aresh on TC. Who will I collect my prize from if I'm right?

they can nerf the land speeder one if they like i love my SPEEDERBIKE lol, perhaps your right might still be the same but might be faster to.. the speeds for the vehicles really not slow till you go uphill

loomis, they're reading fine, but your writing skills need some work.

Fastest is not synonymous with faster ... that post from the devs referred only to relative speeds between different models, it said nothing about making the fastest vehicle any faster than the vehicles currently on TC.

Language matters, so before you go bashing somebody else for their reading skills, learn to write clearly. They're absolutely correct, there has been nothing written by the devs yet that even hints that any vehicle will be faster after this change than the vehicles currently on TC. I agree with those who say what it quite likely means is that some will be even slower.
