What's the fastest way to gain crafting experience? CUrrently I'm just surveying and getting samples at the same time I build practice gun barrels......but this is a slow process.

If you need more resources, it WILL be a slow process no matter what. The most efficient method is grinding using survey devices to Domestic Arts 2 and making and EATING dough ... the fastest is going to Eng 3 and making harvesters on practice mode. Also, your goals make a difference .

If hes making gun barrels your talking about grinding weaponsmith. In which case if its nota matter of cost you can go up the ordance tree and make grenade parts for a quicker grind.

Ya, I need to get my eng 4 to go to shipwright which is my goal. thx, Ill give them nades a try

When you said barrels i fiqrued you meant pistol barrels not the powerups.
For artisan -
Survey tools to engineering 3 then go to harvesters for the rest of it

No actually they dont read the FAQ. But the answer was just quicker to give them to refer them to the top of the page.

ok Im at eng 3 but I cant find the harvester specs in my generic crafting device.....do I need to buy blueprints from somewhere?

You can't make them with the generic crafting tool. They are structures so you need to make yourself a structure crafting tool in order to make them. You may also need to be next to a structurecrafting station, but I'm not sure on that.

ok I built the structure crafting tool and now I can build 3 new things in there but not a harvester.
