can anyone help me out here, i'm wondering what are are the best resouces you have found for making clamp's,knives, up grade kit's, and crafting tool's? Please can you give me the exact type of resouce too.

OK, to date, Nobody has been able to prove that resource quality has any impact on slicing whatsoever.

Therefore, if you're looking for just which type of resource to stockpile...I'd say steel and copper. If you're going weaponsmith or armorsmith too, and you wanna make AUK's or WUK's, then you'll also need some chemical too.

The draft schematic for clamps, FANs, knives says 100% conductivity which "should" mean that the highest possible conductivity stat on your metal is the only thing that matters. However, as the other guy mentioned, it has yet to be proved conclusively that quality has any affect on slicing results.

Did allot of checking on this and can't seem to get a definite concrete answer, but what are the best kind of resources to make buff packs? Stuff that will make my packs come out with a base of 900+. I know it depends on allot of other things like quality and such,but post what you use and maybe i can get a good idea.

Optimally you would want:

Lokian Wheat (OQ + PE > 1800)

Tatooine Fiberplast (OQ + UT > 1800)

Dolovite Iron (OQ > 900)
Domesticated Oats (OQ + PE > 1800)

Herbivore Meat (OQ + PE > 1800)

Class 4 Liquid Petro Fuel (OQ + PE > 1800)

Reactive Gas (OQ + DR > 1800)
Avian Meat (OQ + PE + DR > 2700)

**Replace Reactive Gas with Inorganic and replace Avian Meat with organic for an Action Enhance (Same stat requirements apply)

You'd want to get as close to this as possible. Some concessions are OK and sometimes mandatory. If you had resources similar to this, you could experiment for charges on the ABEC and come out with Enhance D's with Power > 900 and Charges ~ 35.

Anyone know some of the best resources I should get with my 30K resource deeds?

I want to make some ALR.

Only problem isim doing search on swgcraft and its only returning 6 resources when i have like 30 choices under i catagory

I have 830k deeds.

Replies would be greatly appreciated

Also resources are server specific so what is best on my server wont even exist on yours, but try the next page things, should work and help you out

also try just sorting it by highest SR, Heat, OQ etc. What ever stats it is that are being called for. Generally speaking you'll -usualyl- find one in the first page that is reasonably high in all/most of the stats that are called for for the item (be it OQ/SR, Heat/conduct what ever) and just go by that.

Or you can go insane and do what I did once. ANd actually go through eveery single last one of the resources of that class and find out for yoruself.

I am never doing that again... >.<

But god it was worth it.

Also, ask on your trade forums. There are some resources (especially older ones) that didn't get put on swgcraft, and they might be better than anything that is up there. See if you can find a WS that has been around since launch, or as close to it as possible, and ask them.

find a weaponsmith who is know for creating the best weapons, ask him which resource you should use your kit on, and have him give you the name. Easy

im new to crafting so i may ask a silly question how do you find out what resourses are the best on your server without survey each one on you list

i know this is silly but im new dont understand and am trying to shave some time off any help would be appreciated thanks

Good places to start are:

swgcraft.com - maintained by players of each server, so results may vary

swg-resources.com - nice sorting tools, uses data from swgcraft.com
