K granted the ferrous can be a little better with a lucky shift but what can I do with the non-ferrous when its gated at no better than 894 ever in the tempest galaxy? There is a spawn of 850 right now but I hardly see how 15 pts of SR is going to mean that drastic of a difference.... 875-900 maybe but.....

Well to get 100% both resources must have SR of 1000, that's how the system works. The resources statsdetermine the max % an Item.

Things that can help with crafting are being human, crafting tools and stations with high ratings, crafting related foods/drinks, skill tapes/clothing, and player cities with crafting bonuses.

You know my swoops were always the best they could possibly be. I would waste loads of very high SR materials on them i could have used in my other professions.

Then i started getting dozens of requests from my guildies for new swoops because every NPC in game kills bikes now. So now i found that 68% on up makes them happy.

If your selling them this doesnt apply. But if your making them for someone it does

It has been my experience that the quality of your swoop doesn't really make that big a difference.

They don't go any slower, and if something attacks it, it's gonna be destroyed if you're unconscious anyway.

About the only different it really makes is that it might not get 1-shotted.

K I'm getting REAL frustrated here.....

Currently using

Iron with a 973 SR

Aluminum with a 830ish SR (believe this is gated to no higher than 875 or close to there of ever of best ever)

Cujrrently only able to get a 94% or a 95% (if I'm lucky) swoop from this, going to try in a research center tonight to see if that helps any but it gets tiring having 2 points of experimentation left and getting stuck at 94%

Any suggestions?

also using Crafting food on assembly drink occasionally for experimentation

Anything better than about 80% is pretty good, even then your not going to make more creds on them than you would if you just sold the resource out right. (at least thats been my experiance).

I can make currently 88-90% vehicles without any experimentation mods and those move fairly slowly at 22k. To make those Im using pretty good resources, which Id have no problem at all selling at 3cpu-4cpu. Still, I sell a couple a week so I at least recoup my costs and thats enough...I want them to come and buy other stuff there anyway heh.

If Im honest about it the only reason I make vehicles at all is just so my vendors are well stocked and my PA has someplace to buy them. If it wasnt for that I wouldnt make em at all.

It is possible on my server to get 992 and 993 SR iron. This would be necessary to hit 99% on a swoop. Having said that, I can't say that I have ever seen better than 97% on a swoop that was for saleand 95% is far more commom.

well, you have to keep in mond that the swoops can get easily disabled by Nightsisters and Players during PVP no matter how high the % is on them, I usually stick with making 77% to 85% swoops, cuz minerals dont comes cheap nowadays.

I've been making and selling 74% swoops for 17k. I usually sell between 20 & 40 a day. I put a tent outside of the mining outpost on dant. So many grinders there, the bikes sell really good. The higher durability swoops sell for more, but I would rather sell good resources and not put them in these bikes.

Well, I guess you could do that. But you know your only selling them for

(2.4 CPU -(factory maintenance + power cost))

You could make more money just selling the resources on the bazaar or on your own vendor. To each his own though.
