I am very new to the weaponsmith profession and i was wondering how much xp does the heavy axe give when you craft it? Would it be better to craft projectile pistol barrels or heavy axes if i had the resources? Thx, Happy New Year!

Welcome to weaponsmithing. it is a long road but it is worth it. i grinded weapon upgrade kits. they are super low resources and give 63 exp. each.I would grind those till you can make blaster rifle barrels. they use more resources but give 120 exp each. Also you may want to join a crafters guild of some sort. they can help get resources for you to grind. Good luck and mnay the Force be with you. biwan:

I'd craft Survey tools at Eng 2. Ambient Solar and a couple of others require only "metal" as a resource so just build up a bit of stock of metal and away you go, simple clicks.

Once you attain Eng 3 then you can make Personal harvesters, they require larger amounts of material than anything else at that stageto maximise xp.

do ribbed shirts to field wear 3

then do reinforced link steel shirt to field wear 4

then do cartridge or grenadeer belts for the other skills (best non master exp item)
