Easiest way. Go get theticket. Which one really doesn't matter, as this is going to be a pure loot run. Make sure you have a weapon equipped that you have no skill to use. Make sure you have Comp armor that is hi resist to energy. Make sure you have all around buffs. Memorize where the loot spots are and how to get to them quickly. Get on the vette, run to the loot spots, and just hope that there is a powerplant at one of them. If you don't happen to find one, redo the above steps until you do. Get off the vette. Find a schematic for sale on one of a billion vendors. Buy it. Find a 12 point Master Artisan that has some top quality resources, at least in regards to making the experimentation of the speeder as hi as you can. Pay them whatever is a decent price for their resources, and time taken out to produce the speeder. Thank them profusely, go outside, use the deed and drive off in your brand new handy dandy AV-21 Speeder. Go find a vehicle customization toolkit, and color the speeder, so it won't look like everyone else's. All in all it should only cost about 350k or so to get your AV-21. This of course depends if you find the powerplant right away. Add another 25k for every time you have to go get another ticket.
Well maybe that wasn't the actual easiest. Easest is just to be a millionaire, and get someone to get the pp and schem for you, then pay em for it, then go get the master Artisan to make it for you.

the corvette guid in this section lists all 4 locations (2 of them are in the same room)
i agree with the others here -
get your ticket
wear decent armor
get buffed
get on, check the 4 locations (Dont bother fighting stuff)
get off
you may have to do more than once - I'm gettinga powerplant once every 3-4 trips
if you have a spare set of armor and a ticket i could make a char and guide you for the trip
Wess - flurry
Win - starsider

Anyone know of any guides to the easiest way to (try to) get an AV-21 powerplant? I don't care if it takes the entire hour to run my decaying body over and over again, I'd just like one eventually.
Thanks

ok the easiest way is to go to dant and get in a solo group, hunt mokk and janta missions in a advanced job market city and run them until u have the 1-2 mill to buy one but thats just my opinion

The powerplants are looted from the 4 boxes on the vette (although often they're not in there, not a bug).

Yes very rare. It's also where you get the Berserker rifle. Not for sure on if its rare than the power plants or even what its stats are post-cu,but it was good pre-cu. Then again does anyone even do the vettes anymore? Seems like it'd be easy with those CL81 SBD's and such.

There are tons of high CL mobs in there. A guildie who has cloak regularly goes and loots powerplants. He says the drop rate is around 33% (1 powerplant for every 3 runs.)

Wow you have better loot rates than I did when I was looking for a powerplant. I went on about 20 runs till I got my first, then got another next run and haven't been up since. I did get tons of stabalizers though.
