Thread: Warning: New Vehicles Are Broken!

I made a post about this last night that was mysteriously deleted, but the problem does still exist so I thought i would warn everyone again.


Every new Speeder I havecrafted since yesterday's patch has only had 1500 HAM when it was generated from the Inventory. It does not matter if it is experimented to 0% or 90% in the crafting phase, it will still generate with 1500HAM. So far i have tested it with each typ of Speeder (Swoop, Speederbike, and X34) and they all came out with 1500.


I have not tried to generate any of the deeds that i made before the patch, but according to posts on the Artisan Forum, some deeds are generating with the correct Experimation and some are generating with 1500 HAM regardless.


I just wanted to put this out as a warning for Crafters and Consumers to know what to expect.

Another bug:


Enter/Exit vehicle Radialmenu shows the opposite ALOT of times, can live with it - but it's VERY frustrating to "play the lottery" when you are running towards it with 8 troopers after you and you NEED to get away quickly.


Regarding vehicle decay:


Are they going to do something about the extreme decay of the vehicles? I mean a Swoop requires daily repairs to work. I think you guys should remake it so it require as much maintenance as the X34 and the speedbike and X34 even less maintenance. I ditched my Swoop as soon as i got it because it simply was too uneconomical and boughtanother X34.

I noticed the 1500 HAM on new vehicles too when I was playing my crafter alt, but I also noticed that the post patch vehicles decay ALOT slower then pre-patch ones (I normally see 15-25 drop off per decay on pre-patch vehicles, the post patch ones drop at about 3-8 per decay) Wether this is intentional or not, who knows?

The amusing thing about this is it was reported on test center at least 10 times. I guess they decided they wanted to put their precious patch out so bad that they didnt care.

I thought my vehicle was decaying alot faster since patch... I noticed since patch(and after painting it, might have something to do with it), mines been decaying alot faster... Its always decayed at 25 a tick, but this time its either doing it more often, or the health is lower. I bought mine with like +92% health experimentation so it normally lasted a long time, but now, its breaking after one days use. The paint also reset after on days use too, I thought it was supposed to fade, not just magically reset to normal when you pull it out sometime...

Also: The un-repairable bug is back. Ive just spent 20k trying to repair my Swoop 5 times. Each time I call its back down to where it was before the repair. They need to fix these and fast, or Im going back to using mounts permenantly.

got a horrible feeling that "bug" has been fixed (the shuttle bug), but maybe not. Anyway, this is fook'n daft, I have spent all morning reading these forum boards (mostly this one and tech support) and its always the same story - they haven't fixed the old problems and with the new publish they have added more problems.


Just imagine the results if they put publish 7 on hold and concentrated on the bugs only........in another month or so we would have a pretty good game, but it's never gonna happen.


I can imagne what its like now.......


Lowerly Dev - but boss this has to be fixed now, players are leaving over this!


Supervisor Dev - No, no, no, when we add a handful of new quests and a some more eye candy the players will forget about all the bugs and come running back with their tails between their legs *smug grin*. And if that fails send them over to the tech department. And if that still doesn't keep them paying they can come here and **edit** at you lot all day


Tech and Dev- *under his breath* you ass hat!


Supervisor Dev - Now if that is all I must go and tell the Bosses why this isn't the relenting cash cow they expected.

For the enter/exit problem : was there before th patch, just do it twice, and you'll be good.


For the deacy :


Decay of vehicle is a money sink, nothing else. Don't expect it to slow down soon. Maybe when people stop using vehicle, but until that point, the only changes that have the decay will be to increase
