And since Janta don't have hide like creatures do, there's no way to mix up a loot item with a resource. If you loot something called janta hide, that's what you're looking for. Janta hide still looks like the old hide containers, the 10-sided, green and white container.

And don't worry about us jumping all over you; all our hostility is being directed at SOE at the moment. Questions about existing armor is actually refreshing.

I just made some non-interwoven RIS this weekend with 3% Rancor Hide... I couldn't quite hit 80% on the base (I got around 70%), so the special resists in cold and heat with the Rancor Hide helped (pushed me real close to 80%) on them.

YES!!!! that is what I needed to know!!!! I've been getting these "bear rug" looking hides, and he keeps saying "nope still not it". That being said, I get better drops from the Geo caves then these Janta's. I know of two Janta villages (tempest server) One near "Sin too" and the other near Imperia"something"...only player town that circles a POI....not good....they also ban BH's on site...very friendly.

Any direction (help) would be appreciated in finding the Janta Hide (cube! not rug)

I don't know you, and you don't know me, so this is just to help you out. Look in Southern Lok, soloing Enraged Dune Kimo's, unarmoured is the only known way to loot these items. If that fails, solo NS elders, again unarmoured and unbuffed. If you go buffed and armoured you won't loot anything but useless crystals that you can offer to my vendor below.

Two interesting comments. I've seen the name around, and Hello!!! Second, Unarmoured???? Is that a trade secret, and how does that work. I have the Kimo scales and have racked up the frequent cloner points doing it. But how does the unarmoured part of your formula work?

1 unarmoured BH + 1 NS Elder = busy cloning fun = Jedi friends grinding faster N Dant. / possibility of beating NS and looting crystal * offering to vendor below √ ∏ = ± ∑ C (speed of light)

This very clearly presents the answer you are looking for. Really, some peoples quantum game mechanics is sorely lacking...

Oh, and post-CU you'll be able to kill us all with lightening from your butt, I think thats a new special for BH at Heavy Weapons 3 (replaces Light Lightening 2).

Not taking things for granted, l'd like to thank you for your answer. I often get caught with "blind trust" in the good nature of people. Good to see it still exists. I see your not from Tempest.....

And if you want Jantas, go to the Janta cave POI on Dantooine. Remember, Janta's are humanoids, part of the Dantari tribes. They don't have the same hide you get from creatures. You can loot Janta hide (the armor enhancer) and Janta blood (buff enhancer) from them. I always thought that was sorta gruesome.
