What is the point of testing in TC if there is no feed back from the devs.?

What we have to understand it that the Devs only want feedback on the combat 'bugs' with maybe some feedback on balance with the system they've designed (hence the questions on the /con system). They have absolutely no intention on taking feedback on the overall design (intention) of the system and doing anything with it by the go live date. They've got about 2 weeks for major bugs to be done in order to make the go live date.
After that...who knows? Maybe they will have a dialogue with the players to see how things can be improved, but I'm not holding my breath because they haven't given any intention of that yet.

After all, this isTHEIR game. We are here by INVITATION ONLY!!!! We should feel privelaged to play it. What an honor it is to play test their upgrade free of charge. We just need to ShutTFU, bend over, pay our $15 per month, and ignore all the "please ignore our dust, we are CONSTANTLYremodeling" dust.

While, I agree its their game, I wouldn't say we need to be quiet. We are a customer base and we should voice our opinion if we think the changes aren't good for the product. Doesn't mean they will listen to us, but if they were smart they would take our opinions into account.

Oh sorry the undercooked steak part was for milgram. Because if he takes everything lying down as his post suggests (without the sarcasm in it) then its just dumb that if you pay for something and then get handed something you didnt want that you dont complain..

What SoE is doing is getting FREE QA testers to test the game for bugs without paying out for the additional man power.
Congrats to you all, not only are you paying for a monthly sub, but you are also paying for being a tester...
Let the moneys continue....
