That is essentially what I was trying to tell everyone in the midst of the mass flaming here.
Unfortunately, I acted like an idiot and hurt the message.
Lol, good, then at least it served some function.

There are still lots of issues that need to be heard for Armour before the CU goes live, and I'm sure neither the devs nor the armoursmiths will benefit from not having a correspondent to summarise, prioritise, and expedite these issues.Thank you for listening,So..... since the devs haven't listened to the last correspondent or any players, you think they're suddenly going to listen to the next one? Seriously. I know it's hard to let go of the idea that they might listen, but after everything that has happened, can you really still cling to that false hope anymore? It has become painfully aparrent that they won't listen to anything we say and will simply do what they want anyway. The corespondent position is not much more than a title at this point. Oak'ron made it look like something that was worthwhile, but that was really his own work and had very little to do with anything the devs said or did.
If the devs wanted to know any of the issues for armor, they could just read Oak's thread. Remember what happened when Oak tried to get armor issues heard.
They gave us more attention than any other profession in the few days/week before Okram2k was dismissed. Listening and doing what we want (demand is more suitable for some people) are two seperate things. Okram2k threw his tantrum because he hadn't had dev contact for 24 hours if I recall....well you may or not realise that listening to one profession's problems isn't the only thing they have to do.
Just because you don't get exactly what you want right away doesn't mean people are ignoring you, sooner you realise that the better, take a step back and look at the bigger picture for a moment and you might realise this kind of thing for yourself.
To be fair, it was 10 days, not 24 hours. Many moons before the CU, he posted our thoughts on armor changes and how it may be done. This was on the correspondent forums. He said you'd usually get a reply that said, thanks..got it...or something similar. He never heard anything, but assumed they still read it. Then the changes hit TC and we are totally changed. More so than had ever been alluded to during their Alpha 'testing'. He alluded to this, but didn't say it specifically due to the NDA.
If anyone threw a tantrum it was ASs on this forum, not Okram. All he wanted was confirmation that they knew we had concerns. /gasp Converse with the correspondent? It doesn't have to be the Devs, but there sure is someone who's job it is (TH and Tiggs come to mind).
I said many times during this furor the absence of any communication is the worse kind. It leads to all sorts of speculation. So, yes, maybe not hearing from them doesn't mean they are ignoring us. But not hearing from them doesn't mean that they are either.
Again, no one was asking for here's how we are going to handle all your concerns. We just wanted to know they knew we had them. Shouldn't be too hard to do that.
Our requests are not massive, we just need someone in there posting on our behalf on the Corr Boards. Any update on Timing would be most helpfull.

Thank you for listening,
NO CORRESPONDENT FOR YOU!!!

In any case, yes, we need a correspondent as soon as possible.

Dear Devs,
Can you just say "Hi" to us? Something? Let us know you're alive and you care? I've gotten more conversation out of my cubicle at work then we have from you. Time to show us what those paychecks are for guys - start communicating. Thanks.
Love,
A Disgruntled Community
