Thread: Another thing to add to the llst for the Devs to look over and tweak(hopefully)

Ok. So i've gotten over the whole CU thing now. However the one problem I keep having is that no matter how I spec my armorsmith - I cannot keep an elite combat profession and any merchant. Since it is unfeasable to be pure crafter, is there a possibility to revise the merchant profession, or add a few vendors at master armorsmith? I think the ability to have 1 storage vendor and 3 or 4 to sell from would be great. I have figured out thatI can be an armorsmith, keep survey 4, master one elite comabt profession, but only able to keep one vendor. I suppose another solution would be to lower the Skill points for novice boxes (since a few Elites require 2 novice boxes) A reply would be greatly appreciated.

And this would be the whole reason to find a merchant to carry your wares.


You're not supposed to be able to Master a crafter, a merchant and an elite combat!!!

If I have my math right I can squeeze in master armorsmith, master smuggler, 4041 artisan and 0004 merchant.


4041 Artisan: 15+14+14+2=45 sp

MAS: 6+14*4+2= 64 sp

MS:15*2+6+14*6+1= 121 sp

0004 Merchant: 6+14= 20 sp


Total: 250 sp


keep in mind, with the new surveying clothes i can possibly get +25 survey.... which basically bumps me to survey II.... which is workable if I HAVE to find something.... at clvl 54 from smuggler i can survive quite abit... at least on the lesser planets... dath might be tricky.


downsides to this template are:

1) I have to buy ALL my tailored subcomponents

2) For PSGs I have to buy both power conditioners AND energy distributers

3) Lower surveying will suck if I'm on adangerous planet... more exposure... ill just hire a group/round up guildiesto body gaurd me if the stuff is goodenough/shrug

4) I will have a 2500 item cap for my 2-3 vendors (right?) /shrug i only have 4 vendors right now so no biggy, just keep one vendor for the home and leave the two major locations stocked


I'm in a medium guild so I dont think getting subcomponent schematics will prove difficult... and master smuggler will allow me to buy all my own faction schematics at -25% AND I can directly purchase my own faction points.
